I have always been a coral makeup fan; it is likely to be the second neutral to me. Anyways, when I bought All 5 Maybelline bold matte lipsticks, I was little worried about this one. This shade looked like pure orange, not coral to me. Still, that thought could not stop me to buy it anyway! So, braise yourself, I am going to review that very lipstick for you guys today!

My Take on the Lipstick:
The lipstick has the standard Maybelline lipstick packaging only with a sleek red and silver contrast. The packaging is very stylish and also it is travel friendly, it never bothers me when carried in my purse.
The texture of this lipstick is very soft and velvety. But the pigmentation of this lipstick is little off. I have pigmented upper lip and I need to rub it several times on my lip to cover it. I guess there might be some odd thing in the lipstick formula, as you will notice in the swatch pictures, the distribution of the pigmentation is not proper.
The finish of the lipstick is supposed to be matte, as it is named as MAT3, but, it gives me a glossy finish (what?!?). Then when I stepped out it looked matte under direct sunlight and also in camera flash, magic of some kind I guess!
Well, as I said, I am a coral fan but never thought of trying orange on lips. The strange thing is I liked it, I don’t exactly know why. I wore it a few times till now and every time I played down my eyes with glossy neutral eye shadow with only mascara and kajal; and it looks quite good.
The staying power is average, it stays intact till 4 hours and after that it starts to settle in fine lines. It also leaves a stain on the lips after removing.
I have medium Indian skin tone, and it looks quite good on me. As it is a bright shade, it will look flattering on fair skin, but this might not look good on dusky beauties.
Why I like this Lipstick?:
- Velvety and creamy texture.
- Bright orange shade.
- Affordable price.
- Staying power is average.
- Easy to glide on the lips.
- Sturdy bullet.
- Attractive and trendy packaging.
Why I don’t like this Lipstick?:
- It leaves a tint after removing.
- Average pigmentation.
- Will not suit dusky skin tone.

Final Verdict:
I know this lipstick shade might look like a wacky shade to some of you, but it looks quite okay to me. I loved coral shades and I also liked this one. Though it has some hitches like average pigmentation and settling into fine lines after a few hours, still somehow it got my mind. :)
