Fabindia Honey Oatmeal Conditioning Shampoo Review

fabindia honey oatmeal conditioning shampoo

Hello ladies!

This is my first post and I am very excited about sharing my passion for skin and hair care with you all. Today I am reviewing the honey oatmeal conditioning shampoo from the brand Fabindia. I have recently come across this product and am using it from past one month. The moment I saw ‘for dry hair’ I bought it because I have wavy hair which is prone to frizz, looks very dry and they have mind of their own (unruly stubborn hair!).

So I am always on lookout for good moisturizing and nourishing products for my hair. And because of such hair dilemma I am very picky about products I buy, as most products are just waste of money and they do more harm than good. Since I have been using this shampoo for quite some time (1 month), I can share my views and experience about this product!

Hello beauties!

Today I am going to review a shampoo from the recently launched Garnier Ultra Blends range. Garnier has never disappointed me in the past so when they came out with their paraben free hair care product range I bought the lavender and royal jelly variant for me and the henna variant for my mom. I am using this for a week now (3 washes to be precise) and so far I like it very much. Please read on to know further.

Hair Fall Control Hair Wash Powder Recipe & SLS, Paraben, Silicone Free Shampoo List

natural hair wash powder diy steps

“Which shampoo should I use with MABH Fast Growth Hair Oil?”

I’ve been asked this question over 1000 times literally in the last 6 months! I know I am very late posting this article; (I can hear you all bashing at me inside your head) I really apologize to everyone of you for the delay! Lately I have been both busy and ill. :( The bad weather and some personal worries took a toll on me and I had been very depressed and gloomy. I Now that I am getting better, I am sharing this post will you all with a list of SLS and paraben free shampoos I collected.

Hair Wash Powder Recipe – Alternative to Shampoos:

Before you go through the list, I would like to suggest a natural alternative to your regular shampoo. It is a non lathering, powdered hair cleanser, but still a NATURAL recipe. It doesn’t contain SLS, paraben, silicone or something harsh. And gives you fabulous results if used regularly. If you can adjust with the non-lathering factor, go ahead and try the recipe at home. I’ve mentioned about our hair wash powder in my mom’s hair growth journey post. Its not the exact recipe because we add many herbs and other ingredients to the actual one to increase its effectiveness, as it is a long (costly!) process. Now what I share is the a base recipe of it. It works good too! (Its VERY much better than the lathering shampoos) It is easy to make and you can do it yourself in minutes.

Ingredients Needed:
  • 100 gm dried shikakai
  • 50 gm dried green gram
  • 50 gm fenugreek

How to Make?

Dry the ingredients in sunlight for 5-6 hours. And finely grind them all together! The process is over. If you want a more finer powder (which is more easy to rinse off) then you can sieve the powder and store it in an air tight container. You can also prepare it in huge quantities but make sure you use it within 6 months. My mom told me she used this powder for years from her childhood and they used to make it in kilograms for their big family. So try it at home and let me know how it worked. If you are a lazy lass, then wait for me to put up the more effective ‘herbal’ hair wash powder for sale on our site :) It is an improved version, with herbs and hair growth, hair softening ingredients present in it!

P.S: You have to mix the prepared powder (shikakai, green gram, fenugreek mixture) with curd/milk and two drops of any pure oil (optional; do this only if you have dry hair). If you have heavily oiled your hair, you should do two rinses with it. I always do two rinses with my hair wash powder if I oil my hair. For my classic length hair, I use 2-3 heaped teaspoons if I oil and only 2 teaspoons on non-oiled hair. It controls hair fall, cleanses hair thoroughly, reduces dandruff, promotes hair growth and makes hair shinier with regular usage. Go read my detailed photo tutorial on how I make the hair wash cream at home out of hair wash powder.

Vcare Shikkakai Paste – My Experience and Review

Hi everyone!!

I brought Vcare shikakkai few months ago when I was facing terrible hair fall. I somehow forgot about this and discovered it only few weeks back. Undoubtedly shikakai is good to hair but in general I have a opinion that it tends to dry hair. Plus the pain to powder/grind it and use it. That’s why I have always been sceptical to switch over to shikakai. This Vcare shikakai paste comes up in a easy to use paste form with a promise to nourish hair. Read further to know if this is a wothy hair care product. Do also check our recipe of Homemade Shikakai Powder.

Boots Seaweed Shampoo All Hair Types Review

Currently I am obsessed with hair care and in that phase where I buy anything and everything I see related to that. So, when I was looking for a shampoo that would not only make my hair soft and manageable, but to rescue my hair from another shampoo that had caused immense hair fall, I stumbled upon a brand that isn’t easily available in India.

Few days back when I stepped into a local departmental store I noticed that they stocked shampoo ranges from Boots. I picked Boots seaweed shampoo without a second thought since I had read only good reviews about the range earlier. I have been using it regularly for 20 days now and here is my review. Did it live up to my expectations? Read on to know more.
