Here comes another shampoo review – Herbal essences Totally Twisted shampoo. After hearing a lot of good reviews about Herbal Essences shampoo, I badly wanted to try one. When I saw this in a super market, I brought this Totally Twisted shampoo that is designed specifically for curly hair. I have wavy shoulder length hair. Herbal essence has a variety of shampoos to address every hair problem like split ends, volumizing shampoo, dull hair, coloured hair etc. Keep reading to know more about this shampoo meant for curly and wavy hair.

My Take on Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo:
This Herbals Essences shampoo comes in an attractive purple colour flat bottle. The curvy shaped bottle with cute prints and green colour press cap, makes the whole packing interesting.
The shampoo is light blue in colour and has a strong fruity fragrance (very similar to Garnier Fructis). On application, the shampoo lathers well and results in squeaky clean hair even if hair is heavily oiled!!
Now coming to their claim, I am actually disappointed. This shampoo does not define curls and waves even when used with the same conditioner. The shampoo when used alone did not give very good results. It kind of made my hair little dry and frizzy. But the same conditioner combo, its perfect for soft and silky hair. But nothing as they claim in the pack. May be if you use this with whole range (hair gel, hair mousse) one can get defined and beautiful curls. This shampoo and conditioner combo is not enough though.
Why I like this shampoo?:
- Lovely packing
- Cleans hair very well
- Lathers well
- Awesome fruity fragrance
- Inexpensive for the quantity provided
Why I didn’t like this shampoo?:
- Conditioner follow up is must
- Nothing great to do with curls
- Check out the ingredients!

Hey, I have been using this for 3 years now, and this the only shampoo+conditioner combo that keeps my hair safe. Now, it is not available anywhere, not even online :( Can you suggest me where to buy this in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad? Or even online?
