This would be my first post here on MABH and I am glad that my review would be able to decide and help you guys know more about this product. Today I am going to review Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, from Loreal Paris. These are deep facial cleansers which come with a soft scrubber. Well how I landed up on this? My roomie bought it and to my utter excitement I asked her to get one for me too!

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Matte Mania Lipstick Deep Raspberry Review, Swatch and FOTD

Today, I am going to review the Color Riche Deep Raspberry Lipstick from L’Oreal’s recently launched Matte Mania range. I have already reviewed the Pink Passion Lipstick from the range and made a post on my 7 favorite color riche lipstick swatches. Deep Raspberry is one fresh shade that I tried next and here comes my review on it.

My Take on the Lipstick:

This lipstick comes in a classy golden bullet which is sturdy enough to be travel friendly. Coming to the shade Deep Raspberry, its an intense rose shade with a strong hint of cherry red. The texture is creamy, smooth and glides on to the lips like a dream. Though being a matte lipstick, it doesn’t dry out my lips at all. On my lips, it somehow shows more intense than in the bullet.

This is one beautiful rose cherry shade that brightens up the face instantly after application. The shade is very wearable. The finish is fresh and moreover, it is creamy on lips. After few minutes of application, my lip catches the tint well and the creaminess is gone, giving a perfect matte finish – as per the name.

My lips did not feel dry or stretchy unlike with few other matte lipsticks. The staying power is about 6-7 hours without meals. After that, it leaves a deep cherry pink tint behind. Though we can get several rose-red shades for lesser bucks, this one is really a ‘quality’ berry shade that make your lips beautiful with that not-so-drying feel. For the price you give, the shade raspberry is totally worthy. I personally like it more than pink passion which I tried before, because it is very wearable compared to that. Though the shade looks more redder on the bullet, it looks more on the pinker side when you wear it.

You can wear this shade in light hand for school/college/office. Just make it bold and opaque while wearing with traditional outfits or party dresses. It will go well with many type of outfits. 2-3 swipes gives that true matte, pigmented finish and hence, this lippy is a boon for pigmented lips as well.

Why I like this Lipstick?:

  • Beautiful berry-toned pink shade
  • Creamy texture though being matte
  • No shimmers or glitters
  • This particular shade will suit all skin types
  • Stays for a long time leaving an even tint
  • Does not bleed at all
  • Hides pigmentation very well
  • Survives snacks and drinks
  • Does not dry out lips

Why I don’t like this Lipstick?:

  • Well I cannot find a single con for this quality; but if you are not crazy about red rose shades, then this one is not for you.

I highly recommend this Deep Raspberry lipstick to all deep pink lovers! You won’t regret buying one.

L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect 12H Longlasting UV Protector SPF 50 Review

Hi all beautiful souls. The product under review today is from the L’oreal Dermo Expertise range which is the UV Perfect 12H Longlasting UV Protector. To be very frank, this range has not proved itself quite worthy (for me!) and here I am with another dubious product of theirs after my encounter with the not-so-good face wash – L’oreal Paris Pearl Perfect Re Lightening Whitening Facial Foam.

Rs. 449 for 30ml

My Take:

The cream is milky white in colour. It comes in a plastic bottle with a screw open cap with a nozzle to squeeze out the product. I really liked the packaging of the product as it reduces wastage and helps squeeze out only the desired quantity.

To be honest, I am a bit confused with the product. I am not able to decipher how to use it. SPF 50 screams to me for using it as a sunscreen but then the product description says you can use it as a makeup base.

I have a combination skin. When I applied this to my face, no doubt it absorbed quickly but left a shine (or glow??!) that I just abhor. I like my face matte and clear. Just hated the shine that this product gave. Again, maybe some of you may like it. Then again when I used this on my hands for the purpose of swatch (which have pretty skin), the cream absorbed quickly again and this time leaving little shine behind which is tolerable. So I guess, the problem lies in the selection. This is not meant for combination/oily skin at all.

So having learnt my lesson, in this season, I am just using this on my bare hands as a protection from the sun. But to warn you, give ample time for it get absorbed in your skin or else it will be washed away in the rains. I may again try it on the face during winters.

Why I like this?:

  • Absorbs quickly
  • Good protection (SPF 50 UVA PA++)
  • Packaging reduces wastage of product
  • Gives shine

Why I don’t like?:

  • Expensive
  • Gives shine (and I hate it)
  • Sticky

Final Verdict: 

I am really regretting buying this product just for the sake of anxiety at such a high price. But to be honest, I am also glad that I found an alternate way to use it and would be wasting the product. But surely would not be buying it again. Oily/Combination skin people can clearly stay away from this.

L’Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Smoothing Shampoo Review

Today let’s talk about my most absolute oxygen of my hair. This shampoo, bless my friend who took me to mantra mall in Bangalore caught my eye as soon as I saw the word smooth. Coming to my hair, I have extreme bouncy, curly and frizzy dark chocolate brown hair. Frizz is something of pain to me. Otherwise my hair is soft to touch. As soon as I used this, I was hooked. Can you believe if I say I chunked one whole bottle of Sunsilk yellow shampoo because I just couldn’t get enough of this?

My Take on L’Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Smoothing Shampoo:

This L’Oreal shampoo omes in a golden cream bottle with a flip cap. Pretty easy to take and available in smaller variants as well, so travel friendly.

The shampoo is in golden cream colour. Extremely creamy in texture and lathers really well (I was scared first but later learnt that sls is not the only lathering agent used in shampoos and it’s pretty mild in this product to retain nourishment). The fragrance is amazing and doesn’t irritate at all. Lingers on my hair till next wash.

Ah here comes my favourite part of the review ~ working of the product!

Controls frizz for 48 hours? Yes. Actually if used with the whole range ,my hair stays for 4 days frizz free. And my out of bed hair barely tangled. So no hair fall and hair knots. Root to tip smooth hair? Yes yes yes
4X smoother? I say 10X smoother!

My mom, brother and everyone in the family have been using this for years now. It’s pretty difficult for my mom to use anything other than Amway (She is not using any other soap other than Amway one for 13 years) So figure. It does everything it claims and more.

While using for oiled hair, the hair may seem oily but it’s not. Don’t use more than once unless absolutely necessary. Twice the amount showed here is enough for shoulder length hair. I use on castor oiled hair (we all know how difficult it is to remove), 8 hour over night nourishment and still it removes in one wash. Massage gently but from root to tip properly till you feel you have got as much lather as you can (don’t ever ever rub. That’s the key for frizz)

I use this along with the conditioner and the serum. If used with conditioner only, then it’s completely silicone free package. Serum has one silicone in it (but it works perfectly if used all together (only this range I don’t mind the silicone in the serum). If you have a silicone free serum then you have hit a jackpot. Don’t get scared of sls in this, it’s pretty mild actually and didn’t damage my hair at all for 5 years.

What I like about this Shampoo:

  • Perfect claims
  • Perfect work
  • Need I say perfect again?

What I didn’t like about this Shampoo:

  • I don’t think I have written here anything. Nope (consider this as an empty column.)

Hell yeah. It’s a must for almost every curly haired woman on the planet and people who suffer in humid conditions. Well still i think every girl needs this. Except oily haired ones.. pity

Would I Repurchase?

Lost count! I think 29th bottle or something. And I always get the big ones :)
