Scrubbing off the dead cells from the feet is very essential, and not everyone has time to pay regular visit at the parlour for pedicures. For this problem, scrub soaps are useful solution. So, today I am going to review Vaadi Herbals Elbow Knee Foot Scrub Soap that I bought more than a year ago. Here are the details.

My Take on Vaadi Herbals Elbow Foot Knee Scrub Soap:

This soap is a quite large soap in grey color with millions of black granules. The smell of the soap is pretty nice, soothing. I found this scrub soap in an online shopping site one day and I thought of giving it a go. To be honest, I do not regret my thought now.

This is my second bar and I love using it. The soap is brilliant for scrubbing off the dead cells. I personally do not like using body scrub in my feet; somehow, body scrubs do not work for me. So, scrub in soap for is the best for me, it is easier to use; only rubbing the soap for few minutes does the job. This soap does not lather much and also, the grey part of the soap is very creamy. But, the granules are way too harsh; once I thought of using it on my hands, it almost tore my skin! Then I realized, this soap is only for rough areas (silly me!).

One more unpleasant fact is it dries out the skin badly. Sometimes, I forget to apply body lotion, but after using this soap, my skin does not let me forget that. It clears dead cells in few minutes, smoothes the skin; it also cleared the bumps on my elbows. Though, I cannot much comment on lightening the skin tone with this soap. But, overall, this is very useful scrub soap for rough areas on the body. This soap is exactly like pumice stone only it lathers.

Why I like this Soap?:

  • Herbal Soap. 
  • Very economical. 
  • Scrubs off the dead cells very well. 
  • Smells nice. 
  • Does not lather much. 
  • One bar goes a long life. 
  • Easy to use and wash off. 
  • Smoothes the skin.

Why I don’t like this Soap?: 

  • Dries out the skin. 
  • The granules are very harsh on normal skin.

Hello Everyone!

Today I am going to review the Lavender Soap from Vaadi herbals. It claims to be a handmade soap with essential oils.

Price and Quantity:

Rs.38 for 75g

My Take:

Packaging: This Vaadi Herbals soap comes in a beautiful lavender colored outer carton. The soap is packed in double layered thin plastic sheets (may be to prevent smell fading off? Hmm no idea!). It is a bar shaped gel based soap which is soft lavender in color. More than anything else, I loved the very relaxing lavender fragrance of this soap. For the price, this kind of relaxing original lavender fragrance is a steal!

This soap lathers well and washes off quickly. It removes dirt and traces of sweat very well, leaving the skin squeaky clean and smooth. It doesn’t moisturize my skin but it doesn’t dry it out either. As this is summer, I don’t mind using this soap for daily bath. (Instead of my regular shower gel) After I bath or have a shower with this soap, my bathroom smells good with the lavender smell :P

I am sure that this soap will relax your senses at the end of your stressed day; that’s why I always use it at nights before going to sleep. One soap bar comes 15-20 days for me. Make sure to store this soap in a cool, dry place to avoid excessive melting.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with this soap mainly for its fragrance and for the very affordable price of Rs.38. If you are a lover of lavender fragrances, do not miss this soap. It is a great buy from Vaadi herbals!

Vaadi Herbals Foot Cream Review and My Experience

One of the major loopholes of online shopping is ‘Minimum Shipping’. This word forces us to keep adding stuff to our cart just so we don’t pay the extra ‘shipping costs’ . But my dear friends, it is this trap that we often fall into and end up with so much of products (for which I get endless scoldings from my mom). It was during one of my online hunts, that I was short of 30 INR and didn’t know what to buy. This was the only product available below 50. That being said and done, as soon as I got my parcel, this went inside my cupboard and I totally forgot about it. Miraculously, for me and the cream, I found it during my quarterly cupboard cleaning missions and boy am I glad I found you!!

Price and Quantity:

Rs. 45 for 30 gm.

 

Active Ingredients:

Thyme, Clove Oil, Sandalwood, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil.

 

How to Use?:

Wash feet and gently massage cream into your skin and cuticles properly. Use daily after bath.

My Experience:

Packaging: The tiniest cutest little round white jar. The size of the lip balm pots we get a lot nowadays.

Color,Consistency & Fragrance: The cream is thick and creamy. Looks like butter :) It smells strongly of clove.

Swatch:

How it works: Its simple. Wash your feet with warm water and apply this cream generously and massage them. The best way to make sure you get all the moisture locked in is to wear nice soft socks. You put them on and you are set for bed. This cream is so buttery and it spreads fabulously. Feet are one of the driest parts of the boys and they need maximum moisturization. I used this cream for a week and my feet were soft and the rough patches reduced drastically.I don’t have cracks but this would heal your heels too. Also, I have this fetish for mint and this cream leaves a nice minty feeling on my feet. Aah! Foot heaven! I am simply amazed by this tiny wonder.

 

PROS:

  • Moisturizes my feet really
  • Though the bottle looks tiny, there is a lot of product.
  • Price! Wouldn’t hurt the pocket much
  • With continuous use, it reduces dry patches.
  • Repair heels too.

CONS:

  • Availability. You can only get this online

Yes. It really is a good foot cream. For the price, you can try it once and if you don’t like it, at least you won’t feel the pinch:-)

Today I am going to review the Vaadi Face Scrub. This is my current favorite facial scrub. I have an oily skin and it is easy for me to get black heads often. So, for me it is necessary to use a face scrub weekly thrice to maintain a clear skin. I was using Himalaya Face scrub before and got bored of it. Lavender is my favourite; also it is good for sensitive skin. So, I have bought this one from Vaadi. Let me give my detailed review on it.

My Experience:

The packing is simple and cute. It comes in a white colored tub which is handy to carry in travel. The tub has scroll type lid which makes it easy to handle. Overall, the packaging is good; but still it is a ‘tub’ so you need to be careful while using to be maintain hygiene.

Vaadi Herbals Lavender & Rosemary Face Scrub Review

This face scrub is in light lavender colour and the smell of the lavender dominates too. The fragrance can be said just awesome; I loved it so much. The texture of the face scrub is creamy with small scrubbing granules.

I am using so many Vaadi Herbals products already, hence Vaadi Herbals is not a new brand for me. I was expecting so much from this face scrub. My skin an oily-sensitive one. So, I had full hope that this face scrub will help me to improve my skin texture. I usually scrub my facial skin thrice a week if there are no pimples. I am using this face scrub for more than a month now. The first good thing about this face scrub is that it didn’t cause any new breakout on my face. After scrubbing and washing my face I can feel the instant smoothness on my skin. It leaves my skin so soft and clean within minutes.

On the other hand, it didn’t cause any dryness on my face too. This face scrub helps me a lot to get rid of unwanted black heads and dead cells very well. It removes them up to a very good extent. The scrubbing granules are not that much harsh on my skin. I love this facial scrub from Vaadi Herbals a lot and it has became my winter favorite face scrub now :)

  • I experienced no allergy or irritation.
  • Affordable.

CONS:

  • The tub packaging is a big minus. Digging my fingers inside the tub every time irritates me.
  • Availability, I can get this only through online.

My Experience with this Product
Oh gosh! we get 500 ml for 115 bucks! This is the very first shocking thing, as well as surprising for me. Mostly cleansers come at a rate of 200 or 300 bucks for 100 ml and such but this cleanser comes in a dirt cheap prize. I really felt like getting a cool drink bottle, that huge the bottle is for this price :P I did not under estimate this product because of its price because the effectiveness doesn’t depend on the price in most cases. This cleanser comes in a water opaque plastic bottle with blue a cap which is firm and leak proof. I would suggest not to get the 500 ml bottle unless you don’t travel because it weighs a lot and makes traveling hard. Go for the small bottle, it is easy to carry and very travel friendly. It comes with a firm flip cap, hence hygienic too :) I accept, the packaging is very simple, but I don’t mind because the quality of the product is important to me, not the packaging.
So, I have been using this cleansing milk now and then.. Oops not now and then, at least twice or twice a week till now to observe its good and bad things.  It has a white milky consistency, neither too runny and nor too thick. It glides onto the skin and spreads quickly. I usually massage gently for a minute on my facial skin and wash off. You can also wipe it off with tissue and splash water. While coming to the fragrance part hmm not so good, but not bad for me too. It has a kinda medicinal + herbal smell which is okay for me, but will be not okay for sensitive noses. They haven’t mentioned the full ingredient list and the shelf life is 3 yrs, so I doubt whether they added any harmful preservatives in it. But so far, I experienced so side effects, breakouts or dryness. It cleanses out the oil, dirt and light makeup well and leaves my skin soft and moisturized. Oily skins can skip it in hard summers, because it may make your skin greasy but this cleanser is a perfect treat for normal and dry skin types. Dry skins will love it but not to the extent of skipping your moisturizer. Overall, it is a very good cleansing milk for this price. Surely get one for you! Worth trying!
Hey take a look at here. I used random shades on my hands (Some waterproof and others not), rubbed with this cleansing milk, wiped off and washed. Isn’t the result better for the price? But sure, you need a better cleanser for removing waterproof eye makeup.

  • Travel friendly and sturdy packaging.

  • Removes oil, dirt and light makeup effectively. 
  • I experienced no side effects such as breakouts or acne
  • Screw cap and hence hygienic.
CONS
  • The fragrance! It might be strong for sensitive noses.
  • Full ingredient list not mentioned.
  • This is not a con for this price and goodness, but still I am just mentioning. This is not for removing waterproof and heavy eye makeup.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
My Recommendation: I highly recommend it! At least get the smaller bottle and give a try! Normal and dry skins will love it. 
Will I Repurchase?: Of course! It will take months for me to finish this 500 ml bottle :P
