Hello ladies!

The Body Shop’s sale during the end of 2016 compelled me to buy a few products from them! Their products are a bit expensive for college goers like me though!

Since it was winter time, my hands were getting pretty dry. Every time I wash my hand with a hand wash, I felt the need to moisturize it. I never had a hand crème in my personal product collection. Whenever my turn became dry (which rarely happened), I use to manage the dryness with petroleum jelly. But this winter, the situation was completely different. I felt like my hands were becoming Sahara Desert! I immediately made up my mind to buy a good cream specifically for hands!

The hand cream was my pick to address this issue. This product is completely vegetarian. Also, the brand does not test the products on animals, which means this product is cruelty friendly!

Jovees Honey and Grape Hand and Body Lotion Review

The weather these days is not so pleasant and my skin is behaving oddly. A good hand cream has been on my wish list for long time now. With my purchase of few Jovees products, I picked this hand & body lotion in the honey & grapes variant. After using tubs for quite some time, I got bored and this lotion with a pump dispenser grabbed my attention. After using this for 2 weeks, here is the detailed review.

Today it is the product of all seasons, sunscreen!. And one can go on singing praises for them. However, I am very picky and tend to have a liking for the ones that come as lotions more than the cream ones. I have been a Lakme sunscreen loyalist for a really long time but decided to move on.

Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion Citrus Review

We have our own preference in personal fragrances. I like fruity kind of smell than anything else. And today I am going to review one of my another favorite hand cream which has the same fruity smell in it.  Few months back I was not into so much of skin care or make up but after entering into blogging world I secretly started admiring it. And today I love this world. :)  The day when I came to know about this Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion, I wanted to try it out. Do read below to know how I feel about it.

Product Description:

Citrus Scented Hand lotion formulated with natural fruit extracts to moisturize skin.

Directions:

Apply to hands by rubbing and massaging into skin.

Volume:

35ml (1.18 fl.oz.)

Retail Price:

Not mentioned in the tube but it is available for $5.99 each or you may get at discounted price also from few Korean sites.

My Take on Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion Citrus:

Alike other Jam Jam lotion this hand lotion has same kind of tube packaging which is very handy and cute looking. I am basically attracted by its cute looking adorable kind of packaging and smell. The smell of this hand lotion is not exactly citrusy as it claims but it has a fresh and refreshing mellow and subtle mixed orange/fruit smell (very difficult to say.. urrgghh :P ) which is not at all annoying rather sweet smelling.

When I asked one of my friend-fum-fister Nikitha Di she happy sent me 2 of this hand lotion one in strawberry and other is citrus ( reviewing today)  It is more moisturizing then Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion in Strawberry variant which I reviewed on MABH before. But I love the smell of strawberry one more than this: P

As far I know they are available in 5 different types:  Citrus, Walnut, Strawberry, Milk and Hand Cream gel.

Why I like this Hand Cream?:

  • I liked its fresh kind of smell which is very soothing.
  • The texture of the lotion is very light which gets absorbed in 2 minutes.
  • The smell again which last for almost 1 hour and then fades away.
  • Does not feel sticky
  • This is more moisturizing than strawberry one which I like.
  • The packaging is sleek and handy, easily to carry.
  • So small to adjust in your purse easily.

Why I don’t like this Hand Cream?:

  • The price is the main con which is higher for 35 ml of product.
  • May not protect hands in winters.
  • Don’t work on cuticles
  • Do not help in removing tan.
  • Availability is main factor.

Final Verdict:

I like its soothing kind of smell and moisturizing formula in summer but I don’t think it will help me in winters. Its very cute and I love to have them but seeing the availability, price and quantity I have to think before I wish for this. :P

Enjoying rainy days? I am enjoying a lot. Anyways, how many of you think hand sanitizers are important stuff? I do! I do not step out without my hand sanitizer. And today I am going to review Avon Naturals Antibacterial Hand Gel.

My Take on Avon Naturals Antibacterial Hand Gel:

This hand gel comes in a cute tiny bottle with a flip cap at the bottom. The smell is heavenly. The gel is a semi thick transparent gel.

Honestly, for the last two years, I have become some kind of germ-freak; especially while travelling. Those unhealthy airport washrooms, and cars, I do not feel safe anywhere. That is why I keep always my hand sanitizer handy; even if I am not eating, I keep using it (such a freak!). Anyways, I have used Himalaya and Life boy Hand Sanitizers before and now let’s see how my experience with Avon Hand Gel is.

I got this in peach variation; and that is why the smell is out of the world. The other hand sanitizers smell almost like alcohol or have very strong smell. But, this one smells beautiful. Only a drop covers both the palms and also back of the palms. The other good part is it does keep my hands soft and moisture. I have no idea how much germs it can kill (I am no scientist!) but I like believe that this works fine. Looking at the ingredients list, I can understand that this is not only a hand sanitizer; it is also to keep hands soft.

The only disappointing point I have found is that, the bottom flip cap may cause wastage of the product. When, I open it in a hurry, more than required gel falls out because of its upside down position.

Overall, I loved this hand gel. I was so tired of using strong smelling hand sanitizers; Avon Hand Gel is perfect for those who cannot bear strong smell.

Why I like this Hand Gel?:

  • Heavenly smell. 
  • Fair pricing. 
  • Decent amount. 
  • Only a drop does the work. 
  • Keeps hand soft and moisture. 
  • Not strong smelling. 
  • Cute packaging. 
  • Very good for travelling. 
  • Small bottle, fit into purse.

Why I don’t like this Hand Gel?

  • Availability. The bottom flip cap.

Do I Recommend?:

Yes. Especially for kids, they will love the smell.

Would I Repurchase?:

Hell yeah! I am going to try other variants also!

How many of you like Strawberry milkshake? I am talking about rich ripe strong flavored strawberries in milk, cream, ice, sugar or sugar free :P lol I am not here for any strawberry milkshake recipes but I want to share exactly the same I have in my hand right now :) Today I want to review one of my favorite smelling hand cream. I come across recently – Etude House Mini Jam Jam Hand Lotion in Strawberry.

But first of all let me talk about Etude House, its one of a leading Korean brand and got raved over blogosphere. There are so many variants and products available in markets which are very popular not only in Korea but all over the world. Thanks to online international shopping sites!

Price:

No mention in the tube but it’s available for $5.99 for 35 ml (1.18 fl.oz.) each or you may get at discounted price also from few Korean sites.

My Take:

Previously I talked about one of my favourite hand creams i.e L’Occitane Rose Petals Hand Cream which I absolutely love and today this review is kind of same but more over strawberry. Am I getting obsessed over strawberries.?? mmhh not really but actually yes obsessed over this summery, fruity, fresh yet rich strong smell of strawberry hand cream from Etude House!

The first thing I notice soon I opened the seal is the smell of fresh Strawberries. Strong yet sweet, fresh summery fruity flavor which is an absolute favorite for those who love strawberries. They have this Jam Jam hand Lotion formulated for dry and rough skin. They also have other variants as well. I was dying to try these hand creams and one of my friend-cum-sister sent 2 of these variants from Singapore. One is this and the other in Lemon flavor which I will review soon.

This hand lotion is just 35 ml and I fear I would end up soon if I use it daily twice a day, I am using this every after alternative day of giving a gap of 2 days. But whenever I use it (mainly at night time) after long tiring day it always enhanced my mood and make me feel exotic. As if I am in some strawberry field. Lol. I am loving this product needless to say by far this is one of the best smelling hand cream I came across. It absorb quickly do not leave any greasy feelings which I hate in this summer. Its good for oily skins too.

What I like?:

  • I just love the rich cream strawberry smell of it, the best ever strawberry smell
  • The texture of the cream is very light which gets absorb in 2 minutes.
  • The smell again which last for almost 1 hour and then fade away
  • Do not feel any sticky feeling
  • Hydrates your skin
  • The packaging is sleek and handy, easily to carry.
  • Easy to carry

What I don’t like?:

  • The price is the main con which is higher for 35 ml of product.
  • Not enough moisturizing in winters
  • Doesn’t work on cuticles
  • Doesn’t help in removing tan.
  • Availability is main factor.

Final Verdict:

I like this hand cream a lot just because of the smell. It has that kind of smell which I would like to smell everyday. Otherwise there are lots of other hand creams available in the market. I may try to grab another one once I finish this one. :)
