L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Matte Lipstick : Crazy Fuchsia (370) Review, Swatches

I am in a long term relationship with coral lipsticks now. (though I don’t wear them loud in Chennai) Pinks hardly ever impressed me in recent years. One fine day, I applied this shade Crazy Fuchsia over my lip balm to pair it up with a cobalt blue tank top.. and this is what happened – INSTANT love! It is a hot pink shade from L’Oreal paris intense matte range which I’ve not been using for a long time (due to the pink factor) but now, it goes straight to my hand bag! Read on to know why.

My Views:

The lipstick come in a golden colored bullet that looks nice! The bullet is sturdy and shuts just right but the color of the bullet chips within 1-2 months. (Refer the photos of my lipstick bullet). I am liking the new moist matte range’s bullet a lot compared to this one!

The shade crazy fuchsia (370) is a hot toned pink with slight blue undertones! It has no shimmer. It applies smoothly on the lips settling into a semi-matte finish. It is not at all fully matte unlike the new moist matte range. It is moisturizing, well pigmented and a tad glossy. Single swipe brings out a nice pink color; with multiple swipes you can build it into a bold pink shade! It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours and after that, it fades evenly without settling into fine lines. It leaves behind that soft pink tint which stays for a long time.

The shade is well pigmented and never gets uneven on the lips. I am surprised to know how moisturizing these lippies are and still stays for a long time without fading. Among all the other shades, 370 is a stunner! – absolutely formulated for pink lovers!

Likes:

• Not fully matte if you expect it to be!
• Gets slightly patchy if applied on dry lips.

Conclusion:

Overall, Crazy fuchsia is one shade pink lovers shouldn’t miss. It is semi matte, moisturizes lips and stays on for a decent time. The pigmentation is excellent keeping in mind that it is moisturizing as well. If you want a full matte finish, try blotting it and you are done! You will not need to apply a lip balm beneath. It spreads smoothly and gives an instant pink diva look! Do grab it if you are into hot pinks.
