Halloween Inspired Easy Nail Art Tutorial

Posted on January 6, 2014July 30, 2015 by Arshita

Most of us don’t take Halloween as an occasion, but nowadays like Christmas, we Indians are also celebrating Halloween if not as an important occasion, but for only to get dressed up and have fun. As I am into nail arts, Halloween really inspired me to create one. So, today I am going to recreate my Halloween inspired nail art for you guys! :)

Things You Will Need:

  • One black nail paint (nail art bottle).
  • One red nail paint (nail art bottle).
  • One white nail paint (nail art bottle).
  • Top coat.
  • Q-tips and remover.
  • (Optional) Nail art tools or your own dotting tool.

You can get the nail art bottle from any store, they costs only INR 15-20 per shade. If you are unable to get these nail art bottles, use nail art tools or bobby pins or tooth picks.

Hallowen Nail Art Tutorial:

Step 1: Clean your nails if any leftover nail paints there.

Step 2: Then, with the white nail art bottle draw small triangles on the tip of the nails forming teeth. Try to do it carefully to do pointed teeth. These triangles will be done both on the top facing down and at the bottom facing upwards.

Step 3: Now, carefully fill in the remaining blank areas of the nails with the black nail art bottle.

Step 4: Reapply the white nail paint for a proper color. It can become a little messy if you are not careful enough, so, if you are not confident enough you can skip this step.

Step 5: Now, with the red nail art bottle draw a clear thick outline on the nails. This will be our tiny nail devils’ red lips. If you want you can reapply once it is dry.

Step 6: Meanwhile with the q-tips and remover; clean the outside area of your nails to make it look tidy.

Step 7: Finally apply top coat and let dry.

This nail art is very simple and easy to try. The pointed teeth could be done easily with tooth picks, so do not worry if you don’t have dotting tools or nail art bottles. I thought of doing it more complicated with different ideas, but then I thought simple is the best.

This funky and cute nail art can be done for fancy dress parties or college parties to stand out in a crowd. It really freaked my mom and friends out, hope you guys will also have fun.

So, I hope this nail scares you, okay maybe a little bit, huh? ;)
