I am drafting this article on MABH to share my tips on how I pamper my hair and how I controlled my hair fall in just a month. Do read about my hair story and routine. Well then lets get started 🙂
Don’t forget to read: Lancy’s One Year Hair Growth Story
My Hair Type:
My hair is a little longer than shoulder length. I don’t have very thick hair; loads of split ends. Hair growth rate is also slow (hereditary) But still I am in love with my hair. I have an advantage of not having straight silky hair, little curls overall give a bounce and volume to my hair. They look fluffy!
After I moved to my current city, the water changed. In the apartment where we used to live tankers used to supply the water which in turn was very hard. So I started losing bunch of hair 🙁
I went to the doctor as well and she suggested me to use minoxidil gel. It helped a little but when you stop using it the hair fall starts again. So drawback. I used it for a couple of months but it caused a lot of rash, itchiness, irritation so finally I stopped.
Then I started using purified water to wash my hair. Hair became less prone to breakage. Within that time period only we had to move to other part of city. Here I was happy because the water was soft as compared to the earlier place. Now my hair fall is minimal. I would love to share with you how I pamper my hair 🙂
I wash my hair daily!
Yes!! You read it right. I make sure I wash my hair daily. Since construction is going around our area so lots of dust is there. I daily do dusting in the morning but till afternoon only, tiny particles are clearly visible on my furniture so I was thinking how much dust would gather on the head.
Hence I have made a routine of washing my hair daily. I use triphla shampoo by Aroma Magic. I found this product very nice. I am using this for past 3 months and now I am very happy with the same. All the dirt and grim goes away after the wash. Even the oil doesn’t stay back.
After washing the hair I wipe my hair very gently and then apply L’Oreal total repair 5 oil serum which helps in intense shine and my hair doesn’t tangle.
I oil my hair 4 times a week:
I actually oil my hair daily. I apply generous amount of oil and massage gently. I follow this for four days a week. I leave the oil overnight. And remaining days just 1 tablespoon of hair oil 1 hour before wash. Since I wash my hair daily I use more oil so that hair should not get dry.
Oils I use:
I use a combination of oils. I use either of Aroma Magic Revitalizing Oil, Ashwini hair care oil ( this one is too good). I add camphor to Ashwini hair oil as it has a base of coconut oil. It has a soothing effect on scalp. On remaining days I use MABH hair oil which I started using recently. I found it very good as I can find the texture of my hair improving.
My Review on MABH Fast Growth Hair Oil:
Its been just a month that I have started using this hair oil. Trust me I can really feel the difference in my hair..
1. My hair has become more lustrous.
2. There is change in texture as well. They are more shiny, satiny and look radiant.
3. Hair fall has reduced.
4. Since I use this hair oil before sleep time, I get a good sleep as well.
5. I think it works wonders for me. A must try.. Much love dear readers!
Tried and Tested Tip by Generations:
This tip will work wonders! After oiling with hair oil I take water in a vessel and make it little hot. Then I will dip a towel in it, squeeze excess water and then put the same towel on my head. This gives warmth to my head. By doing this the pores of the scalp open up and the oil will penetrate more to scalp which results in good growth rate of hair. This towel technique, you can use 3-4 times a week. Do try and let me know if the same worked out for you 🙂
I use minimum hair pins/clips:
I make sure I use minimum hair clips. I only use click clack hair grips. The hair doesn’t get damaged and you get a good grip as well. I completely avoid using hair pins.
Other hair care tips I follow:
1. I use a cotton scarf to cover my head if I have to travel outside in sun. This way I avoid getting dust to my hair too.
2. I use a comb which has big teeth to avoid hair breakage.
3. I never use a dryer as it tends to make my hair very rough.
4. I only get my split ends chopped once in two months.
5. I have introduced egg whites three times a week.
6. I say a no-no when it comes to coloring the hair.
I am doing this regime sincerely since last month and I can really finding good results in terms of texture. My hair are so soft now, with more volume than before. Hair loss has stopped to 90% and my scalp is very clean.
Hope you will find these tips useful. Wish you long beautiful hair all you pretty ladies out there 🙂 And finally be merry, eat healthy, laugh a lot, pamper yourself and stay beautiful 🙂
