Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick Pink Fever Review and Swatches

I am not a lipstick fan but Elle 18 changed that. Here is one of my favorite lipsticks from the collections. It’s a beautiful pink with maroon undertones and I absolutely adore it. Read on to know more about the lipstick.

My Take:

This lipstick has a beautiful pink shade with maroon undertones. It is a creamy shade hence it is not at all a problem to get the proper pigment on lips. Try with brush to apply as its too creamy. For me, it broke once (You can see the crack in the picture)

This lipstick is one of the the best matched pink on my lips. People who want to try a pink without violet or blue undertones will love this. And for starters like me it is of course a safer option in pinks.

This lipstick doesn’t have any sparkles but it has slight pinkish color ultra shimmer for that glossy look. This Pink Fever Lipstick smells like bubble gum like all the Elle 18 lipsticks do.

The texture of this lipstick is too creamy and oily as well. But it is almost an opaque color. It bleeds in hot weather…Grrrrr

 

On My lips:

PROS:

  • Excellent color
  • Easy application
  • Pigmentation is very good
  • Looks glossy and almost opaque
  • Available easily
  • Beautiful safe pink for starters
  • Easy on pocket

CONS:

  • Breaks easily
  • Bleeds in hot weather (just look at the lips… grrrrrrr)
  • Staying power is 2 hours but I don’t complaint for the price I am getting
  • Not the bright pink which most of the ladies prefer

Do I Recommend?:

Yes of course! This is a really beautiful color with no ugly sparkles. Thank god! It’s an excellent evening wear lipstick which can brighten your face so well. Moreover, this particular shade suits every skin tone.

 

Would I Repurchase?:

I am very happy with the color, creamy texture, pigmentation and the price (woot) of this lipstick. And so, a big YES! I will repurchase. (I am using it frequently)
