Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick Cinnamon Bun Review and Swatches

My Take:

These Elle 18 lippies come in the coolest packaging ever.. I just love that girl with all smoldering looks. The packaging is chic, handy and travel friendly. It is easy to use as well, with the twist up bottom.

This lipstick has a beautiful pinkish coral shade with orange undertones in it. It glides extremely well onto my lips and it smells like yummy bubble gum. It is an excellent nude for summer wear and office wear. It works great with warm skinned ladies as well as cool skinned girls. It’s a complete nude color for me and may wash out people with wheatish skin tones.

It is a sheer lipstick which balmy in texture and need really a lot of swipes for full coverage. You can see in my lip swatch below as well and I at least swiped for 20 times to and fro to achieve that pigmentation.

As any Elle 18 lipstick, since this is so balmy it stays for 2 hours maximum and if used with a lip gloss then stays for 3 to 4 hours. I use Elle 18 lip smoothie peach after glow to top this and that works good

PROS:

• Excellent colour
• Easy application
• No ugly shimmers and this suits everyone
• Looks glossy
• Available easily
• Beautiful safe coral for starters
• Easy on pocket
• This also acts as my perfect coral cream blush (Yep!)

CONS:

• Balmy! So the staying power remain average. For the price, it is okay.
• Doesn’t give a complete coverage.

Do I Recommend?:

Yes of course! This is a really beautiful color. They do have variants which resemble this one but still.. My best coral blush…? I won’t say pass to this one. Many girls will love this particular nude Cinnamon Bun shade if they are lovers of bold eye makeup.
