I’m probably the last person on Earth to review this product! I love trying out different face washes but I always end up coming back to this one. So here are my views on Pond’s white beauty daily spot-less lightening facial foam.

Daily spot-less lightening facial foam cleanses deeply for glowing and brighter skin. The foam’s unique formula reduces dullness and brightens skin, while washing away old weary, sallow skin cells.

Rs. 59 for 50 gms.

Shelf Life:

Use before 24 months from mfg date.

How to Use Ponds Lightening Face Wash?:

Wet your face. Apply to face and neck and gently massage. Rinse off.

My Experience with Ponds White Beauty Lightening Facial Foam: 

The product comes in a travel friendly cream and pink coloured tube with a flip-top cap. The face wash is white in colour and creamy in texture. It has a pleasant smell which lingers on for some time after washing off.

A pea-sized amount is enough for the entire face and neck as it lathers very well. I prefer to lather it up on my palm and then apply on wet face and neck.

This face wash really cleanses the skin. I can feel it. It effectively removes all dirt and make up giving you a slightly brighter complexion for some time. This face wash never broke me out. Regular usage also helps in reducing tan to some extent. It is true to its claims of spot lightening. I had a few dark spots and a month’s usage has cleared them already. This face wash also claims washing away old skin cells, so that’s good in a way. Since I am oily skinned I can use it throughout the year. During the cold season the skin feels slightly dry after using this one. But a moisturizer solves this problem. Otherwise during summer it doesn’t dry out the skin.

My skin turns oily in under two hours after using this face wash. (I’ve noticed this when I’m at home. If I have to go out then this face wash + oil control toner + matte sunscreen + oil free foundation + oil control talc, keeps my skin oil free for around 5 hours). You cannot expect this product to control oil for long. VLCC Anti Tan Skin Lightening Face Wash is better than this one in terms of oil control.

This pond’s face wash is ideal for those having very oily skin. It will dry out even combination skin. So normal, combination, dry skinned people stay away from this one.

  • A little goes a long way.
  • Removes dirt and make up.
  • Reduces tan.
  • Lightens spots.
  • Did not break me out.
  • Washes away old skin cells.
  • Ideal for oily skinned people.
  • Travel friendly packaging.

CONS of Ponds White Beauty Lightening Facial Foam:

  • Not suitable for those having normal, combination and dry skin.
  • Does not control oil.

Do I Recommend Ponds White Beauty Lightening Facial Foam?:

This is only for those of you having very oily skin. It won’t do any good for other skin types. There are plenty of choices in the market.

Would I Repurchase Ponds White Beauty Lightening Facial Foam?:

Yes I will, but I’m always open to experimenting with other brands!

My all time favorite winter soap is Dove. I have had a good relationship with many of the Dove products and hence I use dove soap to wash my facial skin too without any fear; but this time, I changed to Mysore sandal soap and hence needed a gentle face wash that doesn’t dry out my skin this winter because I feel that most of the soaps even leave oily skin dry and tight. When I went for shopping, I picked this Ponds Daily face wash, the green colored tube and going to review it now.

Product Description:
The first step in facial care for soft, smooth skin. For clean and soft skin that glows. Suitable for normal, dry, oily and combination skin types.

How it works:

  • Thoroughly cleanses without leaving slippery feeling on skin.

  • Gentle on skin. Active cleansing system clears gently and cares for your skin better than soap.

Results: Clean, soft, glowing skin.

Usage Directions:
Splash face with water and apply face wash on face and neck. Rinse off. Pat dry. If face wash gets into your eyes, rinse well with water.

My Experience with this Product:

Packaging: This face wash comes in a white tube with a light green flip type cap. The product is completely safe for travel usage and still, the flip cap is a bit tight to open every time.  

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance: This face wash is white in colour and has a very creamy consistency. The fragrance is pleasant and refreshing; wouldn’t bother sensitive noses either.

How it works: Finally I got a wonderful face wash which suits my normal-oily skin well in winter. I feel very comfortable till now from the first time I started using this Ponds daily face wash. It smells pleasant and does the cleansing job really well.  I know this is the HG face wash for most of you out there and of course for me too in hard drying winters. I am using this face wash twice everyday and one 50g tube comes for a month.

Pros:

  • It consists of Vitamin E and Glycerin, which are good moisturizing ingredients.
  • It comes in a handy tube which looks simple and attractive.
  • Unlike other soaps and face washes, it doesn’t make my skin feel tight at all.
  • Its very affordable and full worth of money.
  • It softens the skin and made my finger to touch my face all time. It made my skin really smooth.
  • It has a wonderful fragrance which is light and pleasant.
  • The 100 % soap free system is safe to use in any kind of skin hence it has no side effects
  • It is suitable to use for all skin types except very oily skin.

    Cons:

    • I found it hard to open the flip cap every time :( It is a bit tight I guess.
    • This face wash doesn’t get washed off quickly and needs more water than usual to get rinsed off completely.
    • People who have very oily skin might not like this as it doesn’t help with oil secretion and makes skin little greasy after 2-3 hours of face wash (Only if your skin is oily) 

    My Recommendation: Its a great product and I recommend everyone to try this wonderful face wash, especially in winters. You would love to touch your soft skin as I did :D
