Today, I am reviewing the Deborah Milano Eye Shadow in shade number 9, named Peach Passion. I have been using this trio eyeshadow palette from Deborah Milano for more than 3 months and here comes my experience with this product.

My Experience:

Packaging: This baked trio eyeshadows come in a beautiful rounded eyeshadow palette with a transparent glass lid opening that makes it easy to view the shades from outside. They have provided a double tipped brush applicator which is bent and small. I loved the packaging the the applicator brush is of okay-okay quality.

Colour, Texture & Pigmentation: This peach passion trio consists of three shades; one is a deep chocolate brown with tiny shimmers, the next one is a peachy pink shade with shimmers and the last one, looked like an off white shade with tiny pink and purple shimmers on it. Among these three shades, the brown is the most pigmented one and shows up very well. The peachy pink one doesn’t show up as brown and makes the palette bit messy with its fallout and the last shade, doesn’t show up at all no matter how many times I swipe it; it hardly shows on my lid. When tried wet, these three has a good color pay off. They all have a smooth texture and spreads smoothly over the eyelids.

How they work: We have already discussed about the shades and pigmentation; so let me come straight to its staying power. The staying power varies from shade to shade. All these three have different staying powers. The deep pigmentation brown with shimmers, stays good for 6-7 hours and even more when used wet. The two other shades, I cannot clearly guess their staying power as they didn’t show well fist of all. The shimmers are visible, but subtle on the lids making these shades look natural. I always loved this deep brown shade personally and overall, I am happy with this eyeshadow palette. Though this is not a best one for the price, the quality of the shades are good; I am just simply not satisfied about the pigmentation of the other two shades.

Sorry I don’t remember what I have done with these trio shades :P This was clicked long ago; but I just mixed and matched all the three shades to present this EOTD.

PROS:

  • Come in an attractive rounded pallete with a see through glass lid
  • The applicator provided is of good quality; not the best, but good.
  • Sturdy and travel friendly packaging
  • The brown in the palette is a beautiful deep shade with subtle glowy shimmers
  • The staying powder is good; especially the brown one stays long
  • Texture of these shades are smooth
  • When used wet, all the three has a good colour pay off and stays long

CONS:

  • Expect the brown one, the other two shades are badly pigmented when used dry
  • I expected a little more staying power, atleast for the price
  • The peachy pink shade that contains more shimmers, causes fallout and make the palette messy.

Rating: 3.5/5

Would I Repurchase?: 
Nope I wont; but I am definitely eying out for the other shades from their brand which are more pigmented compared to this.

Do I Recommend?: 
I am not sure. If you would like to have one well pigmented shade and two other subtle soft shades on your trio to make a subtle eye makeup look, this might be your perfect pick.

Pink lipsticks are always said to be girly, cute and pretty. Today we are going to check a review about one of the pink lipsticks from Deborah Milano. I just now had a steaming bowl of rice with mint chicken gravy and came back to my PC again. I received this lipstick along with some more makeup goodies from the brand long back. It’s really ‘long back’ but lazy me didn’t review it earlier. I have been using this lipstick now and then, for outings and nearby shopping visits. Let us move on to my detailed review now.

The number is the shade is mentioned on the top and base of the lipstick. The ‘shade’ too can be easily identified.

Experience with this Product:

This lipstick is packed in a simple and attractive off brown thick plastic tube and the cap is sturdy enough making the product travel friendly to use. The shade is pink, somewhat fuchsia-sh with blue undertones. Soon after application, it looks bold and bright on lips but after 10-20 minutes the shade becomes subtle and soft pink, which looks pleasant and fresh. You won’t find that it is a shimmery lipstick until your wear it. Yes! It has very tiny shimmers but don’t worry they are SUBTLE and hard to notice. With a lip balm beneath, this lipstick spreads evenly onto the lips and covers imperfections good with 4-5 swipes [Don’t expect opaque finish in a single swipe]. But yes! this lipstick shows on your lips as how you wear it. If you do 3-5 swipes, it covers all the imperfection and goes opaque pink. Whenever I am stepping out for nearby shopping or outing, I just make a single swipe on my lips and all set! I get that natural pink lips.
         While coming to the ‘long lasting’ claim, YES it lasts longer! With decent swipes, it lasts good for 6-7 hours leaving a mild tint. It stayed on my lips even after having boost that my mom gave :P So, in this factor, I give full marks to this lipstick. Once in a cold day, when my lips were dry I tried to put on this lipstick and failed to get even the tint. Your lips should be naturally normal [not dry or flaked like mine] or moisturized with your lip balm before applying this lipstick. for better finish. Overall, this lipstick stays long, doesn’t settle into lines, doesn’t dry out lips [Of course you need a lib balm yet] and for all these good factors, the price cannot be taken as a big can. This 24Ore lipstick from Deborah Milano is surely a great buy! Go ahead pinkies.
PROS
  • Super PINK shade with cool undertone
  • Subtle shimmer adds a nice fresh shine to the lips
  • Long lasting as per the claim. You can expect it for 6-7 hours or even more depending upon food intake.
  • Doesn’t spread easily without a lip balm but on the other hand, it doesn’t actually dry out the lips
  • Even after fading, it leaves a beautiful subtle pink tint behind
  • Daily wearable shade; you can either wear it sheer or pigmented as per your wish
  • You have decent number of shades to choose from.
  • Doesn’t settle into fine lines
  • Simple,attractive, easy to use and travel friendly packaging
  • Worthy for the price

CONS
  • Not much pigmented. You will need 4-5 swipes for an opaque coverage
  • Even though it doesn’t dry out lips, you need a lip balm beneath for better application; exfoliation helps too
  • The fragrance of this lipstick is not bad but greedy  me expected a sweet fragrance :P
Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Recommendation: Yes! Pink lovers, go for sure. This lipstick is worth a try and the shade is daily wearable as well. [Don’t get afraid of the swatch, it perfectly suits the lips without looking OTT pink] The pay off of the shade depends on how much you apply it.

Would I Repurchase?: Is that a question? Yes I would! I am eying out for other shades from this range.

My Experience with this Product
It comes in a transparent curvy tube with a beautiful silver coloured lid. The applicator is long and makes every application comfortable with the soft sponge tip brush. The whole pack is sturdy and hence it becomes travel friendly and easy to carry around.
While coming to the texture, it is very light with glitters and shimmers floating on it. Some pink and white glitters are visible which not at all looks OTT on your lips. It has a mild sweet fragrance but not fruity or chocolaty. The gloss is smooth and spreads easily over my lips making my lips fuller. It also has a decent staying power of 3 to 4 hours, after that it eventually fades leaving just the shimmer.

 I didn’t feel any dryness on my lips even after the colour fades off, so dry lips will love it. Nothing bad I see about this lip gloss, but the only thing is that this may not suit pigmented lips as it is a sheer shade. It doesn’t cover pigmentation much but still it is a perfect cute pink lip gloss for everyday wear. In hurry while stepping out, I wear only this lip gloss without any lip stick and it looks good. It is light and perfect! Suits almost all skin types as the shade is not overpowering.
PROS
  1. Cute pink shimmery gloss which smoothly glides on to the lips.
  2. Sturdy and travel friendly packaging.
  3. Suits almost every skin type because of the soft shade. It is not overpowering at all.
  4. Keeps dry lips moisturized for a long time.
  5. Staying power is decent.
  6. Easy sponge tip applicator
  7. 10 ml?? It wont gets finished of soon.
  8. While seeing the quality and quantity they give, I don’t mind about the price.
  9. Nice fragrance, will also suit sensitive noses.
  10. No side effects, made my lips soft.
  11. Perfect everyday lip gloss.
CONS
  1. Not for pigmented lips without your lipstick.
  2. Availability may be a problem. But easily available at leading online shopping sites.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Recommendation: Sure, everyone can take a try. 10 ml will last longer!
Will I repurchase?: No doubt! I will.

I have a huge craze about eye pencils and today I am reviewing a purple coloured eyeliner from Deborah Milano, a cosmetic brand. Deborah Milano Long Lasting Pencil Eyeliner

Shade: Not mentioned (I name it purple)

My Experience with this Product

I always prefer eye pencils than liquid liners because, as you know I am a lazy girl :P Who will wait until the liquid one dries? It is not comfortable for me to line my eyes than the pencils. I am using this eyeliner pencil from Deborah Milano now and then for past two weeks. The shade is not mentioned on the pack but I say it has a purplish shade without any shine or glossy sheen, it is a perfect matte one.
 The texture is so smooth and creamy and so I did not believe first that it would be water proof, but it is! Even after showing my hands under tap water for 30 seconds there is no fading of colour but it smudges. With few rubs, it completely disappears leaving a purple tint. This doesn’t seems like a con for me because the another plus is, we can do some easy smokey effect with this. I don’t know exactly but, because of the very creamy consistency I couldn’t get that sharp tip however I sharpen it. So, forget about getting thin lines. I also did not get that thick line with a single stroke, it takes 3 or 4!
Even though being travel friendly and handy, I expected a sharpener with this which is needed more often.  It would have been very better if this comes in a roll on stick type pen but overall, I am quite impressed with this eye pencil for the beautiful purple shade. The staying power is approximately 6 hours only if you don’t have the habit of touching your eyes :P Other than that, it is water proof so no complaints. The company doesn’t claim much for this product, so it lives almost up to the claim.
And now comes, my EOTD. I used nothing other than this eye pencil and a kajal on my eyes.
I am loving this beautiful purple shade? Don’t you?
PROS
  • Lovely purple shade
  • Smooth and creamy texture which gives a matte effect
  • Perfect for everyday wear. You can even make combos with your other liners.
  • Not that costly; On the pocket.
  • Doesn’t sting when I used it on my waterline.
  • Waterproof
  • Sturdy, Travel friendly and hygienic.
  • I have no guess about the other shades, but it stays for a pretty good time.
  • You can smudge it easily and make a quick smokey eyes.
  • Can be easily removed with your normal cleanser.

CONS
  • No sharpener. Moreover, Sharpening causes wastage of the product.
  • You wont get the thick line with single stroke. Needs at least 3, though it’s not a big con for me.
  • Not smudge proof (No claim, so it can be taken as a con. I am just mentioning)

Overall Rating: 4/5

My Recommendation: If you are looking out for a gorgeous purple, matte and water proof eyeliner, then go for it.

Will I Repurchase?: Why not? But the other shades.

My View about this Lipstick
The lipstick comes in a very classy black metalic case which is firm and travel friendly. The colour is somewhat pink mixed with peach, has a sheen but it faces quickly giving a super matte effect. The fragrance is not at all over powering, it is mild and even sensitive noses will okay for it. The first time I used this lipstick, I got really impressed about how it spreads. It spreads smooth ans silky like a butter on my lips without any hardness. Soon after application, it covers imperfections greatly and goes opaque as it is highly pigmented. Staying power of this lipstick is also in a safer side. It stays for about 4 hours and fades eventually after that leaving a lovely pink stain. I just expected a little more staying power but this is perfectly okay because the texture is so creamy and smooth. There are many shades available in this range for you to choose one for your skin type. This is one of the best lipstick for dry lips and I recommend it highly to everyone who want a highly pigmented, long staying and cutely packed lipstick.

  • Staying power is pretty good. It leaves a lovely pink stain behind.
  • The case of the lipstick looks really very classy. No one can say no for this.
  • Fragrance is mild and bearable.
  • Sturdy packaging and hence easy to carry around.
  • Highly pigmented. It covers the imperfections and uneven tones.
  • Goes opaque with single swipe. The lipstick is shiny too.
  • Smooth and silky finish as per the claim.
CONS
I just expected a little more staying power (Greedy me ) :P
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
My Recommendation: If you are looking out for a highly pigmented, creamy but yet matte lipstick go for it. You will surely love this lipstick for it’s shade too. The would shade perfectly suits all skin types I guess. A great buy for dry lips.
Will I repurchase?: Yes! But other shades from this range. A single lipstick will last longer.
