Before knowing what’s a blush and a bronzer as cosmetics, let me clear first how blushing and bronzing happens naturally :)

Blush is the most loved makeup product amongst all. Blush gives us that picture perfect look while it also contributes to correct our face shape. Applied in the proper way, it can make chubby cheeks slim and skinny faces look full. The most common blush shade is pink; the other popular colors are coral, bronze etc.
There are four major and common face shapes, i.e. Round Face, Oval Face, Square Face and Heart shaped Face. Not all face shapes required similar makeup or blush applying technique. Different face shapes has different features to highlight and hide. Here are explained how to apply blush according to each face shape.
Round Face: Round face is wider than longer; and that is why you will need to cut down the width to make your face slim. To apply blush on round face, you can take the darker shades as it will help you make your face look slim. Apply your blush in a sideways V on your cheekbones and blend towards your ears. You can also apply only some amount of the blush on your chin area, and make sure to blend it.
Oval Face: Oval is said to be the ideal face, (says who right?). The forehead is little bit wider than the chin. Cheekbones and forehead almost have the similar width but the width cuts itself down right from the cheeks to the much narrowed or can say pointed chin. As said before, oval face is the ideal face; there are almost no parts to hide with blush except for highlighting the cheekbones. Apply any shade of blusher on the cheekbones and gently blend it moving upwards.
Square Face: Square face has a wide forehead and the width is almost similar to the width of the cheekbones and jaw; making the face square shape. Apply any dark shade blush on the cheekbones leaving a half inch space from your eyes; and gently blend it towards your temple. Also apply blush on the forehead and chin area; blending it well.
Heart Shaped Face: Heart shaped faces are very rare. It has wide forehead, little bit wider cheekbones and narrow chin. Apply your blush from the starting if the cheekbones to the middle of the cheeks. You don’t need to blend it towards the temple; the idea is to concentrate on your cheeks. And also do not apply blush on the chin, as the narrow or pointed chin might not look good.
Enhance your beauty by enhancing the specialties of your face shape. Figure out your face shape and apply blush according to it to achieve a professional makeup at home. But, always remember, choose blush shades keeping your skin tone in mind and don’t go overboard or else you will end up looking like clown :P.

A pop of color adds so much prettiness to our face. It makes you look younger and cheerful. Revlon Pink Peony is my first blush. Blushes were not really my forte as I had a tough time finding a shade to my liking. That was when I got this product as a gift.

The blush comes in a square pack with a transparent lid on the top. The packaging is sturdy, travel friendly and the transparent lid allows the user to pick the shade easily from a stack of other blushes. A pop up mirror is also provided that allows you to apply blush on the go. But the mirror pops up quite powerfully. Some of the blush had actually chipped off from the sides the first time I pressed the button. I am really careful ever since.
The color is a nice mauve pink that is not shimmery making it a perfect wear for the day time. The color is very subtle when applied but that gives a good control on the amount you want to apply. One can always build it up if needed. For the color to show up well you need to go over twice at least. The proper way of wearing a blush is to start at the apple of your cheeks and brush up towards the hairline. The shade would suit medium to fair skinned girls.
Even though no mention of ingredients scares me out, it has never irritated my oily acne prone skin. I find it very light to wear. It is easy to pick up the blush with a brush and even a beginner cannot make a mistake by going over the top with the color. Brushes meant especially for this purpose would be more useful than the small brush provided with the product. However, the bristles are not harsh on the skin. It might be of use while travelling.
The staying power is around 3-4 hours. There is no hint of color left behind after this period and one has to reapply.

An understated pink blush that is ideal for college or office wear. For the ones who are still skeptical about getting a blush, please get one soon and see the difference it makes to your whole look :)
I am a strange person; yes I am. I love things which have cute names and not to mention they are even cuter to look at. So it was not strange why I was so attracted toward the MUA 2013 collection new blush named ‘Bubble Gum’. The name only was enough for me to grab it but also I loved the color. Please read on to know how I feel about this gorgeous product.

The products are packaged in black glossy container with a transparent plastic lid which shuts tightly without any problem. The shade can be easily seen from the top and this helps in storage and in easy finding. The shade is a pretty girly pink which is easy on the eyes as well as gives quite a natural looking flush of color to the cheeks. It’s not at all OTT so can be used on a daily basis also.
The shade is buildable and it will stay on your cheeks for 4-5 hours. With a primer, it will stay even more.

Yes I will. For those with fair to medium toned skin looking for a daily wear cute color look no more and choose this one. It’s easy on the pocket too. And the color can be build up for that evening look also.
