The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist – Review

I completely agree with the statement ‘When someone smells nice, it makes them more attractive!’ Who doesn’t love to smell good? A pleasant smell can change one’s mood instantly as it refreshes the mind. According to me, The Body Shop launches promising products very often!

I always have used their deodorants and body sprays but never ever got to try a body mist earlier. This is my first body mist from the brand and let’s get into the review!

My Views

This body mist comes in a glass bottle. It has a spray mist cap on its top. The cap is black in color and is made of plastic. The cap doesn’t come off easily, unless I pull it with force. The product has vanilla indicating design on it. The only con is that it comes in a glass bottle and hence it can’t be taken out in a hand bag. Nevertheless, the packaging is classy and elegant.

Vanilla is my comfort scent. By this I don’t mean that I don’t like any other scent, it is just that Vanilla has a warm feeling which makes me comfortable. I apply perfumes right after my shower. This product is not a perfume, it is a body mist, which means that the concentration of scent is less in it. I personally don’t like any strong perfume! I like to keep it simple. One thing that I want from a body mist or perfume is that it should stay longer and to linger all around me!

As soon as I opened the cap of the bottle, I happened to find a sweet pleasant smell of vanilla. I sprayed the body mist, to my neck and all other places where we I usually apply perfume. The scent settles down in a few minutes and gives a subtle aroma. The scent is not at all overpowering!

The fragrance surrounded me for around 5 hours, but the concentration of the scent faded with every minute. At the end of the day, though the smell remained but it was too light to be found! Although I liked the lovely smell of this body mist, I did not find its staying power too awesome to be liked.

This product was not cheap, at least for me! I will recommend this product to people who like very light scent on them. I personally will not buy this again because it didn’t stay long on me (in the same concentration). I like body mists to be a little more strong but not too overpowering!

However, I would still recommend this vanilla body mist to you for sure if you’ve a sensitive nose and if you are into warm vanilla scents! You’re going to love the beautiful scent it carries!
