One of the things that I often neglect is my lips. I hardly do anything to take care of them. Thankfully I am not a lipstick lover; I rarely wear lipsticks say only in the case of weddings! Else, I just apply lip balms or else nothing! So naturally, my lips seek my attention after drying out and giving me chapped lips. That is when I will start the rescue action and do something.

My Views

At times, I really do get chapped lips all of a sudden on a particular day. It was one such day that my mom had the same experience. I remember that was an evening, and my mom gave my cousin a call and he bought it from a nearby pharmacy along with the other medicines that my brother had to take. Normally, I have a tough time choosing among lip balms. There are many popular brands of choice and I always have a trouble. In this case, as I was not involved in the purchase, I got to try a new brand and a new product. My very first lip balm was from Nivea and thus I was pretty sure that this is going to work.

The Nivea 3 in 1 lip balm comes in a sleek tube which is in the brand’s classic and standard blue shade (I just loved the bright blue pack). Once you unscrew the little white cap, it reveals a tiny hole to dispense the product. The slanting face of the tube can be directly used on the lip and a slight pressure on the tube gets out the necessary amount and then you can glide it smoothly on your lips. I seriously dislike those lip balms where you have to put in your fingers and then rub in on your lips.

The content is transparent and you can use it at times we do not want any color for the lips (there are such moods too for me). It has a sort of mint flavor and as soon as you apply it, it starts to give a cooling effect which is an overpowered effect initially and then it gets subsided in about five minutes. And guess what? In just a matter of minutes, the rough and dry lips are healed completely! I believe it is because of the cooling effect that the results are shown immediately.

For me, no product have been able to heal my lips in such a short period of time. If you are so much into colors, you can still use it when staying indoors, just for the sake of moisturizing your lips. It is very much cheap compared to the other lip balms in the market, so buying one for home won’t hurt. So overall, it is indeed an essential product for both boys and girls!
