Hoping you all are doing well. Body lotions are a mandatory part of every girl’s everyday skincare routine. Body lotions help in retaining the moisture in our skin and giving it the hydration it needs. I am always on a hunt for a good body lotion since I like trying new products and I prefer lotions with a light texture.
So, I picked up this Strawberry Puree Body Lotion fro TBS a few months ago and it was kept in my shelf for months till I actually opened the seal and started using it recently and here’s how it fared for me!
My Views
The company claims that the body lotion is lightweight and contains real strawberry seed oil. It hydrates dry skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.
Encased in a transparent bottle, the packaging of the body lotion is quite nice and it comes with a pump which makes it easy to dispense and use the lotion. I do not prefer travelling with such a huge 250 ML bottle of body lotion in my bag, but in-case you want to travel with it; I approve the bottle to be travel friendly.
The texture is exactly how I like my body lotion to be, light. Even after being light in texture, it provides sufficient moisture for the skin throughout the day and gets absorbed as soon as you slather it on your skin. It smells exactly like strawberries and I love the fragrance since I prefer fruity fragrance over floral fragrance!
However, the fragrance does not linger around all day, it will disappear after about an hour of application. But, if you really want to smell like strawberries all day, I suggest you to use the shower gel and the body mist from the same range! Indeed, the lotion is on the costlier side as compared to other body lotions in the market but seeing the results it gives, it is worth spending the extra bucks on. I have been using this bottle for about a month now and it still hasn’t finished up. So, it will last to anything from 1-1.5 months depending on if you reapply your lotion; which I certainly do not. (However there are mostly discounts offered online so you can save a few bucks!)

Final verdict: I have a pile of body lotions lying around so I would not really repurchase the product till I finish them, but yes, once I finish them; I would surely repurchase it and other The Body Shop body lotions available in the same texture. It is worth the splurge!

While I like TBS body purees, I prefer them during summers when I don’t need much nourishment.
I haven’t tried any TBS product yet. I think it’s high time I have to try one.
The lotion looks yummy…. pump packaging makes travelling with this difficult. Nice review?
The peachy pink color of this lotion is so tempting and I absolutely adore Strawberry fragrance. I will try this :)
Even I am using this lotion currently. I like the smell but hate the fact that it does not stay for long on body after application.

Nice review! I haven’t used any other product from TBS except their lip balm in strawberry variant. :D I might think of trying this body lotion as I am currently loving body lotions from Vaseline! :)
