Bioderma Sebium Exfoliating Purifying Gel Review

I am super excited for this is going to be my first ever post on MABH. And I really want to thank Lancy for this opportunity! Before moving to the review let me say a word about my skin type. I have a combination and acne prone skin. I was actually in a hunt for a wonderful exfoliating scrub for my troublesome skin and before I could spot on to one, this one reached my hands.

My fiance gifted me this product and I am so glad that he did. I am a great fan of Bioderma products as this brand has never failed to win my heart so far. I am sorry! I can’t keep the suspense of this review till last, ‘this product is a MUST HAVE, if you love your skin!’ and that is my final verdict about this gel. Read on to know more about the gel and to know why I love this so much.

My Views

The product comes in a white tube packaging with a green cap. The cap itself comes in a seal-lock, which makes sure that the content is completely untouched before the ultimate user. The whole tube and the cap are made out of sturdy plastic. The cap opens and shuts with a great tick sound and that is a huge relief for me as it ensures that it is travel friendly! As mentioned on the tube, it has a new fragrance but it is not a nice/bad one for me. I am kind of okay with the smell and glad that I do not dislike it. I am not able to describe the smell for you though I actually want to describe it somehow!

As I said, I have an acne-prone skin and I suffer from whiteheads especially near my nose and chin areas. Earlier I used to take facial steam, and then remove all the whiteheads using the tool but it would keep on returning from the immediate next day, that I was totally fed up due to the whole process. I thought a CTM routine and the above process would help me stay away from whiteheads, but now I know the importance of an exfoliating regime as well. I am using this product for the past 2 months. The content is of course a gel variant, with sand like little particles which are the magical exfoliates that does the job really well.

I really love how minute the exfoliating particles are. The gel is overloaded with many of them and when you rub your damp skin with the gel, that feeling itself is so new and refreshing. After 1-2 minutes of massaging, you rinse it away from your face and it feels so cool and clean. As claimed by the product, your skin smoothes instantly and that too with the first use!!! I always feel that my facial skin is so rough and have always wondered which product I can use to make it smooth. And from now on, I know what it is. I used it on my feet too and the skin there felt smooth as well.

Though a little pricey for me, I am in absolute LOVE with this product! Please DO try this gel if you are suffering from the skin problems similar to me. Highly recommended for every oily/combination skin beauties!
