Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water Review

If you are reading this post, that totally shows that you do care for your skin and follow a skin regime i.e. a C-T-M regime! (cleansing-toning-moisturizing). And if you prefer to go all natural with your skin care like me, then you will agree that nothing can be a better toner than pure ‘rose water’!

Today, I am reviewing the most talked about rose water by an exotic all natural ayurvedic brand – Kama Ayurveda! (one of my favorites!) My friends rave about this product incessantly and it is also one of the most popular (read, bestseller!) products of the brand. So, I had to get it for myself! I have an oily T-zone and my nose has big pores; hence, a good toner is a MUST in my skin care routine!

And because of all the above factors, it is natural to have high expectations from the product. Let’s find out if the product is worth the hype and stands true to its claim in my experience!

My Views :

The rose water claims to balance and restore the pH level of your skin; tighten pores and acts as natural astringent. I love, love, love its simple yet chic packaging. It comes in a handy, dark spray bottle with a transparent cap! The plastic bottle with the nozzle is sturdy and very easy to carry in my handbag while travelling. It’s looks cute because of its size and the pastel rosy pink and golden label printed on it which makes it elegant and chic! I bought a small 50 ml bottle but the product comes in a 200 ml bottle as well.

It has pleasant, mild rose fragrance which doesn’t linger on after applying it and obviously its color and consistency is like water (because it is rose ‘water’!). The rose water is alcohol free as well as it does not contain any artificial colour, chemicals or fragrance!

It is made from organically grown roses following the steam distillation process, so you can be sure it is the purest form of rose water you can get! I can feel it after spraying it on my skin. It actually tones skin and tighten the pores. Just after the application my skin feels soft and clean! On a hectic day, it brings life to my skin, as a single spray is enough to refresh my tired skin. I also use it to moisten my face before applying a face mask. With regular use of this rose water tone, my skin feels clean, soft and supple. Yuppy!!

I am using it from long time now and I can proudly say that it is the best toner (most expensive!) I have ever used.

Overall, I love this rose water from Kama Ayurveda! It has become an indispensable part of my skin care regime as well as the ‘must have’ product of my handbag. It tones and tightens the skin pores and refreshes my skin in no time! It helps in keeping my combination skin healthy, clean, fresh and soft. The only con I can find is its pricing.
