The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter Review

It’s been a very long time now since I have written any article for MABH. My review today is about a body butter from my favorite brand The Body Shop. I got this body butter as a gift from one of my friends and I love it so much. I have never used a body butter before and I never spent my money buying body butters as I used to think it was a waste of money. But after using it I have realized how wrong I was. It definitely is an investment for our daily skin care regime.

My Views

The packaging of the product is pretty simple with a screw cap. My only concern with a tub like packaging is that I have to dip my fingers again and again as and when I need to use it. But I do not expect a tube packaging for body butters either. So I am okay with it.

The texture of the body butter is actually like butter!! Since it is a body butter so it has to be heavy and thick in texture but I would say that it is not way too greasy. It does take a few seconds to get completely absorbed but it doesn’t give the greasy feeling. This product is definitely very hydrating. It sinks into my skin as soon as I apply it making my dry skin (read snake like) feel soft and smooth.

I smell of fresh strawberries for hours after applying it. I apply the body butter at night so that it can sink into my skin and work all night and the next morning my skin feels so much soft and fresh. I also use it massage my feet after doing a pedicure at home and I can clearly see the difference in my skin after using it. The skin on my feet is so very dry and scaly. I can see the results straight away after using it.

Overall its an excellent body butter that moisturizes my skin immediately after applying. It smells of strawberries making you feel fresh. It has a wonderful fragrance that I cannot resist. I recommend it for those who like to pamper their skin!

P.S : I bought a few products from body shop when there was Buy 3 and pay for 2 offer. Its best to buy the body shop products when there is some offer going on. Currently it’s a 40 % off offer running in the UK and I have already spent lots of money. I am so in love with body shop products.
