Hey, people! My banana island visit is going great so far! (Yes, I’d extended it because the results are.. visible!) Though not consistent, I managed to eat 5 bananas today! It was awesome. I’m only wishing that I should not develop a hatred towards bananas. Smooth skin on the way!
Coming to the review, I’ve with me the Wet N Wild Mega Protein Mascara today. I’ve been using this mascara for the last few months after I got it from Luxola. It’s one of my favorites for how good it works and at the same time, how affordable it is! Let me share my complete views on the product!
My Views
The mascara comes in an attractive lime-green colored tube. The applicator wand is straight and is of fine quality and it picks the right amount of the product needed for each application.
One good thing about this mascara is that it not only defines your eyelash temporarily but it also works to improve the thickness/quality of your eyelashes by nourishing it with the soy and wheat nutrients it contain. It claims to improve your eyelashes over time. Having said that, I need not worry about the mascara-damage I encounter every time (I lose 2-3 strands of my eyelash every time I wear (and remove!) a mascara and this thing really kept me away from using one!)
To be honest, this Wet N Wild mascara did NOT magically lengthen or thicken my lashes. It really has enhanced my lashes naturally but not like those falsies-ones in the market. However, it did not affect my lashes either. I felt no dryness post application. It felt so comfortable on my lashes! I almost didn’t feel the mascara. I lost not even a single strand of my eyelash during the eye makeup removal process. And it was a definitely a sign of relief for me. I use an eyeliner curler post application, once the mascara is all dry and it defines my lashes beautiful! (no clumping!)
Coming to the results on how it improved my lashes – I need time to notice the same! It’s not like I use it every single day, so I cannot really comment on that but this mascara is of course not drying. It coats my eyelash, opens up the eyes and gets easily removed with an eye makeup remover, or simply some oil. It doesn’t darken the eye area post usage. I encounter no smudging too but mind you, it is NOT water proof! (Which can be a benefit, as well!)

Overall, this is a good everyday mascara that can enhance the appearance of your eye lashes. It’s light, eye lash friendly and doesn’t make eye makeup removal a pain! The product is cost effective too. For the lovely bright tube and the quality of the product, it’s worth a buy! I highly recommend it for daily use and college/work wear. For occasions/heavy makeup looks, you will be needing an intense one!

This mascara has everything I need – isn’t waterproof, doesn’t clump and looks quite natural :)
I use mascara quite rarely and I expect it to give thicker longer lashes. this one seems ok for just everyday use. Pretty eyes though!!
