Auravedic Pulpy Saffron Almond Face Wash – SLS and Paraben Free : Review, Photos

For the most, I pick natural, chemical-free products for my skin! So I got this face wash along with the turmeric bridal ubtan paste from Auravedic last month! The product is free from SLS and paraben; hence there could be no second thoughts to pick it Do read on to know my experience with it!

The face wash comes in a simple pink colored tube with a flip cap! The packaging is simple, sturdy and travel-friendly. The product is transparent; but slightly cloudy and the consistency is gel-like. I squeeze a coin sized two coin sized amounts every time I cleanse my face. I massage the gel on my facial skin for a couple of minutes before washing it off. It disappears (melts!) into my skin like thin gel and helps the massage movements with ease! The product does NOT lather! (No, not even a bit) It is SLS free and I expected less to no lather when I got it; but it does not lather at all which is of course not con for me! I love mild cleansers that contain no soap and SLS!
It causes this mild tingling-cooling sensation on my skin soon after the application however, I got used to it after 2-3 uses. After rinsing it off from my face, my skin feels left fresh, clean and soft! I am also loving the fragrance of this face wash which is mild and somewhat floral! It carries the smell of rose water in mild amounts with whiff of saffron! Though the product doesn’t help with makeup removal, it manages to remove dirt leaving skin smooth and nourished. It never left dryness behind which is a good thing that doesn’t mostly happen with foaming face cleansers! Another good thing is that it doesn’t STING my eyes!
If you have a normal-combination or a normal-dry skin type, this would be a good pick for gentle cleansing! Dry skin types will need something rich and hydrating; oily skin types will need an oil-clearing face wash! Though I have a normal-oily skin, this product suits me aptly in this dry weather! I’m using it everyday, mostly at nights before going to bed. And never once it has dried out my skin!

Dislikes
– This is not my ‘dislike‘. I actually like it more because it doesn’t lather! However, if you are used to foaming cleansers, you’ll not be impressed!

Overall, this pulpy face wash from Auravedic is an impressive product that does a mild cleansing job without drying out your skin! It has no SLS and the product is free from parabens as well. If you are looking out for something that is very natural and economical (and gentle!), I’d definitely recommend this to you!

You can check the same in the ingredient list Jyoti. SLS free face washes usually don’t lather! But they can still foam if they have ‘soap’ content in them. Btw, this one doesn’t lather! Hence, I suppose it is SLS and soap free.
