All L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Start Collection Pure Reds Lipsticks : Swatches and Photos

If you are aware of the recently launched L’Oreal Paris Pure Reds Collection Star Range of lipsticks about which I had shared with you last month, you must be knowing how I liked the new bullets and the pigmentation of the shades! Today, I’ll be swatching them all for you.

The shades have a velvety semi-matte texture with an excellent pigmentation! Compared to the previous Matte Mania range, these are more pigmented and long-staying! Moreover, they are not drying on the lips.

Note: Swatched all the lipsticks in a subtle manner below to make the exact tone of the shade visible. Otherwise, they are WELL pigmented. Refer the swatches above.

Pure Scarletto : This is a ‘must have’ shade if you love bright reds! For me, Scarletto somehow looks like a softer version of Rouge, but with neutral-warm undertones. You can’t stop yourself from picking it if you are a lover of RED lipsticks!

Pure Vermeil : A very wearable red with hints of peach, pink and coral. This is a very unique shade to pick when you are stuck in between pinks, corals and reds! The shade instantly brightens up your face even when you don’t have your base makeup on. On lighter skin tones, it may look a bit neonish but on me, the shade looks deep and rich! Needless to say, it is warm toned.

Pure Brick : This is a brown-based red, again amazingly pigmented and it has a smooth, velvety finish as well. Brick will be a hit among 40+ women! You can wear it in a subtle manner for a natural office-wear makeup look! Dab it slightly over your lips and top it with a clear gloss.

Pure Fire : The range of reds cannot be complete without a hot striking tangerine red! Fire is one such shade. Though it looks more like ‘Orange Power’ (a shade from Matte Mania range) on the bullet, the redness in it actually shows up once you wear it! It is more RED compared to the orange power!

Pure Amaranthe : As the name suggests, it is a pink based red that would look flattering on all skin tones. Depending on the undertone of your skin, the redness in it shows up very VERY subtle that you can hardly notice it! On my dusky skin, it looks like a darker version of fuchsia pink with slightest hints of red. The shade is cool toned.

Pure Rouge : This is the shade I love the most from this range! It is gorgeous deep red shade with cool undertones. It is insanely pigmented with a velvety finish! Rouge is a universal flattering shade! (I highly suggest brides and brides-to-be to try this shade out)

Pure Garnet : The most deepest shade from this range! It is a wine red which falls under the ‘cool’ category. The shade will look absolutely beautiful on all skin tones as it is deep, hot and carries this hot-factor to it!

Overall, I am totally impressed with the entire Pure reds range from L’Oreal Paris! My favorites would be Pure Fire and Pure rouge without a doubt! Pure Vermeil is also a very unique shade to pick that will instantly make you fall in love with it. Other shades are also excellent for their pigmentation and texture!
