Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Flawless Lightening Review

I was looking for a good day moisturiser and picked this Biotique product. I have always had love hate relationship with Biotique.This Bio morning nectar claims to lighten your skin complexion and provide moisturisation. Does this product really stand to its claim? Lets check it out!

My Take on Biotique Bio Morning Nectar:

Like every Biotique product, even this flawless Lightening lotion comes in a standard cream green combo plastic bottle. The bottle is semi transparent and that means I get to see the product remaining. The green screw cap is strong and makes the bottle spill proof. But there is no intermediate lid to control the amount of lotion taken out. You have to carefully pour it in your palm and most times I end up taking more than required.

The lotion is white coloured and has a not so thick nor thin consistency.I find it easier to apply on the face. The smell of this lotion is overpowering and I sneezed a couple of times when used it for the first time :P

After application, I was disappointed to see my skin turned oily. Even after two hours, the dewy finish did not disappear. Girls with oily skin give this a pass. Even though it did not break me out, every time it does mildly sting me. This does not provide SPF. Now talking about the claim, I don’t find it to be true. It does keep the skin nourished, but no lightening effect. Finally, the only option left is to use it as a body lotion. I would summarize this as an average day lotion for dry normal skin.

• Easily available online
• Not animal tested

 

Why I don’t like this Lightening Lotion?:

• No visible lightening effect
• No SPF
• No dispenser to control the flow of product
• Strong fragrance might irritate girls with sensitive nose
• A big no for oily skin

Recommended for dry skinned girls looking for glossy day moisturizer!

 

Will I repurchase?:

Nope as I don’t like the sheen finish it gives to my skin.
