Dove Beauty Cream Review

Posted on January 23, 2014July 30, 2015 by Venetha

Hi friends :)

Beauty is not just about make up. Our skin has to be taken good care in the first place with cleansing and moisturizing. However oily your skin may be, never forget that it needs moisture. Your skin will thank you for it in the long run. I am actually guilty about this part since I am lazy to put on a moisturizer sometimes. But I make it a point to use one more often than not. The Dove product that I am reviewing today is an all purpose beauty cream that someone bought me from UAE.

150 ml

Ingredients:

My Take on Dove Beauty Cream:

The packaging is simple, slim and sleek enough to carry in your bag without making it bulky. The sturdy white and pink plastic container holds the cream. It actually has an aluminium foil sealing when you remove the lid. It will prevent the lid from getting messy yet I took it off completely for no reason at all :P

The white colored cream is so silky, fluffy and light. The consistency is lighter than usual body creams but thicker than lotion. It looks and feels very tempting to use. It has a trademark mild refreshing Dove fragrance that I am sure everyone can relate to. The cream blends easily and absorbs instantly upon applying. There is no sticky residue left behind. The result is a satin soft and smooth skin that feels completely hydrated. I personally use this on my hands and feet after a shower but it is absolutely fit for facial use too.

Oily pimple prone skinned people can safely use this without fear of breaking out and making skin greasy. I can double as a good makeup base also. Usage of body creams in humid climate gets blissful with the one. In case of super dry skin, it might not be sufficient. Otherwise it is too good since it does what it says.

Why I like Dove Beauty Cream?:

  • Light and silky consistency
  • Keeps skin soft and supple
  • Gets absorbed in a jiffy
  • Suits most skin types
  • Pleasant smell
  •  No greasiness

Why I don’t like Dove Beauty Cream?

MABH Rating: 5/5

Final Verdict:

I totally love this beauty cream as it is light and makes my skin so soft. What more could one ask for in a simple cream?! :)

The cream looks too good. I too hoard on creams and lotions Lancy, maybe “coz I have extremely dry skin. Am always on the lookout for something better. Anyway nice review Venetha.
