Tresemme Smooth and Shine Conditioner Review

Hello ladies,

Today I shall be reviewing the conditioner from the Tresemme range of the same variant as the Tresemme Smooth and Shine Shampoo that I had previously reviewed on MABH. It was all the hype about the brand that made me buy this conditioner even though I was pretty happy with the L’Oreal Conditioner reviewed previously by me. Read on to find out if this too was a dud for me like the shampoo was.

Price & Quantity:

Rs 64. The quantity is 100 ml.

Key Ingredients:

Sorry all, I am putting a picture here. It is a torture to my eyes to read and type it. They are really tiny.

My Take:

This conditioner too is in a white plastic bottle with pink print on it. Like I mentioned previously I am not a fan of its opening. This makes an even more mess as it is thicker than the shampoo. Check the picture to see for yourself!

The color is white as you can see from the swatch. The fragrance is very conditioner like. Nothing to like or dislike about. The texture too is like any other conditioner.

All the hype about the brand made me purchase products from this brand. The shampoo was a big fail with me but I must say that the conditioner was pretty alright. Even though it did not give me fantastic results, it did what any ordinary conditioner would do. It made the hair tangle free after shampoo and was soft to touch for ‘only’ a couple of hours after shampoo. However, the softness and smoothness does ‘not’ linger on and once again hair is a dry, rough, frizzy mess!!!! It does not live up to its claims. I am a disappointed customer as far as Tresemme brand is concerned and I am highly skeptical about its entire range of products.

Why I like this?:

  • Availability.
  • Not pricey.
  • Travel friendly.
  • Kinda does its job.

Why I don’t like?:

  • It does not live up to its claims.
  • Over hyped product!!
  • It does nothing for dry rough hair.
  • Messy packaging.
  • Not a happy customer.

Rating: 1/5

Do I Recommend?:

NO WAY!!!

Would I Repurchase?:

Nope! Never.

I created the blog in 2011 during my high school days and then went on to regret the domain name. More than writing, I love my kitchen-experiments; currently hoarding cast iron pans.
