Colorbar Time Plus Compact Powder Shade 006 Honey Review

Hello to all the MABH readers, this is my first post; so I am very much excited. I am a fashion and make up-freak just like every other girl (no offense). I keep buying beauty products and do experiments a lot. Today, I will be reviewing Colorbar Compact Powder, Shade 006 Honey which I bought a few months ago.

 

Price and quantity: 

Rs. 200 for 9g/0.32 US oz.

 

My Take:

I have hyper-allergenic skin, so if I use any sunscreen lotion or cream, within a few hours my face, hands and neck will be full of allergies. Thus, I use compact powders to protect my facial skin from harmful sunlight. Coming back to the product, this compact powder is very fine and smooth on skin, it actually gives a feel like light foundation. I have tried it with and without foundation, and both the time it worked fine for me. It covers the skin completely (if blended perfectly) and chosen the right shade, I think it would not give any embarrassing white cast. It blends very easily and stays for average long time (if not sweating too much)

It has a built-in mirror and applicator, also a round plastic sheet under the applicator to protect it from getting too much powder on it (which I really appreciate).

Overall, it is inexpensive, good quality product, good brand and almost does what it claims (except for sunscreen, not sure about if it contains SPF).

PROS:

  • Gives smooth and fine texture as claims.
  • Built-in mirror and applicator.
  • Small and sleek packaging.
  • Pocket friendly.
  • Can be used for daily use.
  • Super-fine powder blends on skin easily.
  • Hypoallergenic, as claims (for me).
  • Sweat-proof, if you only dab your sweat, not wipe.
  • Good quality brand.

CONS:

  • Not sure if it contains SPF.

Do I Recommend?:

Yes, I will recommend this product. In spite of having hyper-allergenic and sensitive skin, this product works perfectly fine for me. I sweat a lot, still after dabbing the sweat, it was fine.


Would I Purchase?:

Yes, I will, until I find a better one.
