L’Oreal Paris Pearl Perfect Re-Lighting Whitening Facial Foam Review

Today I will be reviewing a new face wash from L’Oreal Paris.

 

 

Price and Quantity: 

Rs. 199 for 50 gm

 

Shelf Life: 

36 months

 

My Take:

This face wash comes in a pearly white tube with a grey screw open cap. The texture is thick and the color of the face wash itself is true to its color – pearly white.

Frankly speaking the terms fairness, brightening or skin lightening are never a deciding factor me to buy a product. We all know how much these companies loot the common man by such sensitive marketing. However, when I saw this face wash, I perceived it to be different. The Vitamin C and melanin block content in it were calling me to try it at least once and I did.

One thing good about this face wash is that it lathers up very well and just a pea size is required to wash the entire face effectively. As claimed by the company, it washes off equally well.

Coming to the whitening claim, I do not find it to be true neither did I expect it to be. However, I must say that the face after wash is visibly clean and bright, washing off all the dirt and sebum nicely.

PROS:

  • Lathers very well
  • Very little amount is required for one wash, that ways it will last pretty long
  • A mild fragrance that soothes the senses
  • Cleanses the face effectively
  • Washes away traces of non-water proof makeup also

CONS:

  • Expensive
  • Dries skin after wash
  • No whitening of the skin

My Final Verdict: 

It is not a must try product, can easily be given a miss. There is nothing too special in this face wash. Due to its high price but not so good results, I would not be buying it again.
