Banjara’s Rose Water Facial Freshener Review

The first skin care ingredient I can think of in summer is ‘Rose Water’. I love using rose water in my skin care routine as it tones my skin, prevents dryness, delivers a fresh rose fragrance.. and all these with no-oiliness. No doubt, rose water is a miracle summer skin friend! The natural homemade rose water which I used to use when I was young never made my skin oily but 2-3 rose waters I tried in these years broke me out badly and spoiled my skin texture.

Today I am going to review Banjara’s Rose Water (Face Freshener) which I picked before a couple of weeks when I went for shopping. With little hesitation, I started using this rose water on my face and body. And read on to know more about this rose water.

My Take:

The product comes in a opaque pink colored plastic bottle with a screw cap. There is a plastic lid present inside when we open the screw up. We must make a small hole in it to dispense the product. I do not find the product easy to use or travel friendly. I transferred all the content to a spray bottle :)

This rose water is a transparent clear liquid with a added rose fragrance to it. The fragrance is not at all overwhelming. It is kinda natural, mild and pleasing to the senses.

I use it on my clean face after a tired day to brighten up my skin. It does a pretty good job. Though it doesn’t make my skin oily, it helps hydrating my skin up to a good extent after long time sun exposure. I use it as my everyday skin tone because putting on my moisturizer. At times when my skin feels very oily and greasy, I just wash my face, dab few drops of this rose water and leave on! (Only in summers though) I love this rose water’s effect on my skin. It made my skin smooth and less sensitive with daily usage. It did not break me out at all unlike the other rose waters I have tried.

Nowadays, I am also using this rose water on my body skin to make it soft and prep it for body lotion application. Overall, I am totally in love with this rose water! I am now planning to use it on my DIY recipes and face packs.
