Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Lovesick Passionnee Review

by Arpita

Hi All,

Today I am going to review the Revlon lip stain in lovesickpPassionnee shade. I won this balm from Revlon’s Twitter contest. However, please note that my opinion, my experience, the pictures are completely mine and I have NOT received any payment for doing this review at all and even if I did not write this review, Revlon won’t mind at all because this is not a sponsored review or anything like that.

Price:

Rs. 600 for 2.7 g

My Experience:

Packaging: It comes in a super cute pink retractable tube kind of packaging. Everything has been printed nicely on the sticker stuck on the tube and the packaging looks super cool and it is travel friendly.

Shade: Lovesick Passionne is a beautiful bright pink shade with cool undertones. It contains micro silver glitters.

Fragrance, Texture and Moisturizing Power: It smells minty and exactly the same like Polo candy (That round minty candy with a hole in the middle) :P The lip stain has a creamy texture and it glides on very easily onto the lips and provides normal coverage in a few swipes. I do not have much lip pigmentation and so I cannot comment on the pigmentation coverage. It is quite moisturizing for my lips but super dry lips may need a good lip balm over it. One thing I do not like is the glitters present. The color settles in the fine lines of the lips.

Lasting Power: The color lasts on for about 2 hours and then the stain last for about 1-1.5 more hours. Therefore, in total, the lasting power of this one is of about 3-4 hours, which is good! A thing that pinches me is the price of the product but for the quality, it is totally worth it :D

PROS:

  • Packaging
  • Moisturizing power
  • Lasting power of about 3-4 hours
  • The color is cute
  • Quality and Quantity
  • No wastage of the product due to retractable packaging
  • Minty polo candy like fragrance
  • The stain it leaves behind looks good
  • Long shelf life of about 3 years from the date of manufacture
  • Brightens up my face

CONS:

  • Silvery Glitter particles
  • Price
  • Settles in fine lines

Final Verdict: I have only one word for this which is ‘fantabulous’! Must buy Lip stain from Revlon :)

Rating: 4.5/5

I created the blog in 2011 during my high school days and then went on to regret the domain name. More than writing, I love my kitchen-experiments; currently hoarding cast iron pans.
