Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Crazy for Coffee Review

This is my second review and I still remain excited.. Thank you sweeties for the lovely comments.. Today I will be reviewing a lipstick from my favorite brand Maybelline. I think Maybelline remains as a heroine in many hearts because it offers good quality products at an affordable price. This is from the color sensational range which we all are quite familiar. Lets move on to the review.

My Experience:

I was desperate to try something from the color sensational range as I was quite fascinated by the cute packaging. Since I am very new to the world of cosmetics I was not sure which color would suit my skin tone. So I browsed through various blogs and made a list of lipsticks which would look flattering on me. I went to Health and Glow and told the SA to swatch everything from the list.

Out of all I absolutely loved Blushing Brunette. I was happy, I paid for my first lipstick and came home. After coming home I eagerly opened my bag to look at my love. There came a shock, where someone called CRAZY FOR COFFEE looked at me and told HI..!!!! Then I realized that the SA had given me a wrong shade. I wanted to hit myself against the wall. Consoling myself as it was fate I swatches the lipstick. It looked like a classic brown with some pink undertones. The color was good on itself, but the worst part is that it made me look as if I finished my Ph.d, yes it made me look older. My aunt who is dusky tried it and it looked so natural on her which means it would suit medium-dark skinned girls. It can be their MLBB shade.

Color, Texture and Flavor: It is a natural brown shade with pink undertones. And what I like about these lipsticks after their packaging is the fragrance. It has a yummy VANILLA smell; Loving it.  It has a smooth texture and glides on lips without any pulling or tugging. It keeps lips moisturized for sometime. It is really  well pigmented. But the worst part is its staying power. It stays only for 2-3 hrs. After which it starts fading leaving a very mild brownish tint. Overall , a nice everyday shade for medium-dusky girls at an affordable price.

CONS:

• Staying power is bad, only 2-3 hrs

Do I Recommend?:

Yes , if you don’t mind the staying power. Medium – Dusky girls will love it as it can be their MLBB shade. Give it a try.

Not sure because of the staying power.
