Top 5 Herbal Beauty Tips

Posted on October 14, 2011 by Lanceek
1.NOURISHMENT FOR GLOWING SOFT SKIN
A natural homemade remedy which we can use to enhance the beauty of our skin is Coconut juice. For glowing skin, grate the coconut and squeeze it to extract the juice. Now apply this juice over your face, neck and hands using a soft cotton ball. Leave the skin to absorb the nourishment from the juice for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off with clean and cold water. Silky soft glowing skin is all yours!

2.PROTEIN FACE MASKS TO IMPROVE COMPLEXION
FOR OILY SKIN: Mix Besan (Gram flour), Chickpea powder and Multani mitti (Fullers earth). Add lime juice and rose water to this powder mixture to make a smooth paste. Cleanse our face and apply this paste evenly over your face and neck. Dip a cotton pad in rose water and keep over your eyes to relax them. Wash off with cold water after 15 minutes. This makes an excellent face relaxing mask which removing all the impurities and dirt from deeper and improves your complexion. This mask can be followed twice or thrice in a week for faster results.
FOR DRY SKIN: Add a spoon of honey with the above mentioned mixture and use it as instructed! :) That’s it. Honey nourishes your dry skin to prevent it from breaking.

3.ANTI WRINKLE DRY SKIN MASK
(Vanishes fine lines, wrinkles and gives radiant skin)
Soak almonds in water overnight and paste them. Mix milk cream with this paste and blend well. Apply this pack evenly over your face and also around eyes (It also removes dark circles). After the mask dries, wet your fingers and scrub your face gently with circular motion. Wash with clean and cold water. Pat dry. This face mask is an excellent all purpose home remedy for young glowing skin.

4.HOMEMADE SKIN LIGHTENING BODY LOTION
INGREDIENTS
1.Glycerin
2.Lemon juice
3.Rose water

METHOD

Pour all the ingredients in a clean bottle and shake well. Apply this lotion on your skin every night before going to bed. The rose water and glycerin gently nourishes the skin while the lemon juice acts as a natural bleaching agent to give you a flawless lightened skin in few days. This makes an effective winter body lotion for all skin types, even children can use this!

5. PACK FOR DARK KNEES AND ELBOWS
Grate tomatoes and extract juice from it, add lemon juice and Multani mitti to this tomato juice and apply this paste on your knees, elbows and wherever you want to remove the darkness. Wash off after it dries. Don’t forget to moisturize the areas with any cold cream or moisturizer after this process. The regular use of this pack removes all the dark patches and evens out the skin color to get back the original complexion.

regarding lemon and rosewater and glycerin..i just read soemwhere else that it needs to be done before taking a bath..and you have said it should be kept overnight on face and skin..

depends on your skin dear. it can be done either way…if you have oily skin half an hour before bath is best. if you have dry skin over night will be best. for combination, both can be used:)

    thanks dharu!

one more question..is it just for face or hands as well?
i would prefer keeping it overnight..on a daily basis..so this can be used on body as well?
