I am a severely dry skinned girl who need to use body lotions all through out the year. In winters I prefer using heavier and hydrating body lotions. But in summers I resort to lighter body lotions. I have used aloe vera gels a lot in summer and I know how light yet hydrating they are. So, I try to use aloe vera gel based body lotions only. So, since I was done with winter body lotions and winter also bid a final goodbye to all of us.

So, I thought of why not buy some summer body lotions. And my search ended to Jergens Soothing Aloe body lotion. Read on to know if the product is worth your skin or not.

My Views

Packaging wise this body lotion is quite simple. It comes in the medium sized bottle which needs to be squeezed a bit so that the product comes out. The bottle has entire product claims and packaging details mentioned on it. The bottle is in skin colour and very travel friendly and light in weight.

Coming to the texture of the body lotion it is thick but very easy to blend. But since it is more on the thicker side I was quite skeptical in the store as will it feel heavy or sticky on my skin. But since it has my favorite aloe vera as the prime ingredient I decided to give it a try.

Now, let’s begin with the application part. I apply body lotions only once a day after my shower. Mostly my skin is semi wet as I have heard that is the ideal time to apply body lotions. I apply it on my entire body barring my face and private areas. The first day when I applied it I was really skeptical if it will make my skin sticky and heavy. But it blended quite beautifully into my skin. It completely disappeared in my skin and made it baby soft.

After the first day only when I was done applying this I touched my legs and hands and they were so soft. After a week of daily usage in the night I was normally touching my hands and legs they were so soft that I couldn’t believe. With regular usage this will make your skin so soft that you won’t stop touching it. Yes, it did not impart any glow or took care of anything other than my dryness woes but I didn’t expect anything more out of any body lotion. Also, since I didn’t have any major skin pigmentation issues I cannot comment on that too.

But this one is a fab body lotion for the dry skinned beauties. Also, you require a very little amount per usage. So, a single tube of body lotion will easily last you for a good 2-3 months. One bottle survived me for 2-5 months with regular usage other than Sundays.
