Homemade Anti Pimple Face Pack – Do It Yourself

Posted on July 23, 2013October 15, 2014 by Harini

Hi beauties,

How are you all doing? Bangalore is completely drenched in monsoon showers!! Love the climate to every bit. Everyone wants to have a clean and clear skin. But, there are so many skin enemies like pimples, warts, acne, blemishes, pigmentation etc. Its not so easy to save our skin from all these disrupts. Today, I am sharing one of my natural homemade recipe to treat pimples.Yeah.. I know how horrible pimples are. Lets see how I get rid of pimples with my DIY Anti Pimple face pack.

About the ingredients:

Neem (Azadirachta indica): This magical leaves are rich in anti- bacterial, anti- fungal, anti-inflammatory  properties that not only benefit your health but also treat’s common beauty problems like pimple, acne and pigmentation.

Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum): This miraculous herb known us “Queen of herbs” is widely used to cure numerous ailmets. The antioxidants in tulsi leaves helps preventing pimples, acne, wrinkles, ageing and scars.

Kuppaimeni (Acalypha Indica): Commonly known as Indian nettle ,this amazing shrub is loaded with lots of medicinal values. This is used to treat various inflammatory skin infections.

Ingredients Required:

  • Neem leaves – hand full
  • Tulsi leaves – hand full
  • Kuppaimeni leaves – hand full

Preparation Method:

1. Collect all the leaves in equal quantities and dry shade them for 1 week. Once the leaves are crispy dry, we can grind them in mixer.

2. Add the dried leaves to mixer jar and grind them to a fine powder.

3. Transfer the content to an airtight container. This powder can be stored for 3 months.

Directions for Use:

First cleanse your face.Take required quantity of grounded powder and mix it with rose water to a smooth paste. Alternatively you can add aloe vera gel (fights acne) or coconut water (gives cooling sensation). Apply the pack evenly on face focusing on pimple prone area. If you find the pack a bit slippery to apply, you can add some fullers earth to it. Wait till the pack gets completely dried and wash with cold water.

Benefits of this Anti Pimple Face pack:

So, all you girls suffering from pimples and acne do try this at home and its completely herbal (an added advantage!!) with no side effects. When used regularly, this pack really does wonders to skin. This is my granny’s recipe and I have been using this for years. Whenever I get pimples occasionally, I completely rely on this pack. I have never had a need to hunt for pimple clearing face washes. Hope you find this post beneficial.

See you all soon.. till then stay beautiful :)
