Lakmé Absolute Fast and Fabulous Nail Color Flaming Apricot Review

Hello all Lovely Ladies,

Bright colors are in. They are all around you so why not on your nails. I am a big fan of pinks and when I found this bright variant, Flaming Apricot, I jumped to grab it. Lucky me, it turned out to be as cute on my nails as it is in the bottle.

My Take:

Lakme products are common in every household and it is one of the oldest cosmetic brand available in India that is trusted by all generations alike. This brand has evolved a lot, in terms of product quality, packaging, marketing and also price (sky rocketing!!). The nail paint that I am going to review today is the fast and fabulous nail paint with the 40 sec drying guarantee. The color is Flaming Apricot.

The color is bright and summery. It is a mix of peach and pink and I love it to the core. It’s slightly shimmery with golden undertones. The bottle is rectangular in shape with silver cap and a flat brush. This unique design makes holding of the brush pretty convenient.

The company claims of getting the perfect color in one stroke but I beg to differ here. The nail paint is quite streaky and you would need two strokes to get that perfect finish. For that matter, it is not that pigmented.

It dries up pretty fast, yes I tested it. After flat 40 seconds, you can notice the nail paint drying but still it takes time to set completely. And I would recommend to wait for at least 2-3 minutes to start with any other activity.

 

My NOTD:

PROS:

  • Great value for price
  • 30 exciting colors to choose from
  • Perfect shade for summers; peach and pink mix
  • Dries quickly

CONS:

  • No ingredient list
  • Not pigmented enough, requires two strokes

My Recommendation: 

I have a couple of shades more from this range. I love the packaging of these bottles and would like to buy more of these. They have some fun colors to experiment with.
