Hope you all are doing well. I am going to share my thoughts on the Head & Shoulders lemon fresh anti dandruff shampoo today and I am super excited since this is my first article post on MABH. Lemon juice is widely used to get rid of dandruff as a home remedy. So on seeing the lemon fresh shampoo, it was a natural pick for me. Let us see how it fared.
Price and Quantity:
Rs. 62 for 80 ml.
The shampoo comes in a plastic bottle with a sturdy flip top. Sometimes it can be a pain to open it. But that proves effective in preventing leakages. The small bottle is travel friendly.
The shampoo is pale greenish yellow in color. The consistency is quite thick. It might look like a small dollop on the palm but you end up using more product than required initially. The fragrance is a refreshing citrusy smell. I personally like it. The fragrance lasts for two days post wash.
On application, there is a cooling sensation which I absolutely fell for. It is such a bliss using this shampoo in the summers. Travelling a lot in the day, the dust and pollution caused dandruff which was so annoying. I had to wash my hair every other day to prevent itching but it did not help me to get rid of the flakes. But on using the head & shoulders lemon fresh shampoo, I was pretty pleased as the flakes were gone in the first two washes itself. Their claims are indeed true. That does not mean it eliminates dandruff completely. I used it for two weeks whenever I washed my hair and then cut it down to once a week since the dandruff was pretty much under control. I use my regular shampoo on the other days.
I have an oily scalp; hair is smooth and gets dry only on the ends. This shampoo did wonders to my scalp and I loved how it made my scalp clean and fresh. But the hair was affected on continuous usage. It got really dry and I noticed that the texture also started to change a bit. So it is better to use only when you need to fix your dandruff.
- Effective dandruff control
- Makes scalp squeaky clean
- Reasonable price
- Cooling sensation
- Refreshing fragrance
- Makes the hair dry
- The smell might not be liked by people with a sensitive nose
A really ‘cool’ shampoo to keep your dandruff issues at bay.
