Godrej Nupur Henna Powder Review

godrej nupur henna powder

Hi girls!

There was a time in which I used to care for my hair so much. I made it a point to wear henna on my hair at least once in six months. And that was the only time where my hair behaved so appropriate!

I know each of us has a story of how thick or long our hair was and how beautifully we were carrying it like a crown! As we grew, we spent less time to care for and it all starts diminishing! Obviously henna is some great help that we can do to our hair.

It was my mom who bought this product from a supermarket. And it was then I realized it was high time that I get back to my hair routines. I am having some issues with dandruff on my scalp which comes and goes as frequent as it wills.

I usually henna my hair after getting pure henna powder from shops and then mixing it with egg, black tea etc. This is the first time I am trying it out a ready made henna mix!

Patanjali Herbal Henna Review

my hair

Hello lovely people!

I have already mentioned the paramount importance of henna in my hair care routine. Dried and grounded henna is indeed the best because it is absolutely free from all kinds of preservatives and colorants, but for a lazy soul like me, drying the henna leaves and grinding them is indeed a monotonous task and that is where these ready-made henna powders come to rescue.

I have been using Nupur henna powder since the time I started applying henna to my hair and it has never given me a chance to complain. I use henna solely for conditioning and Nupur henna has never disappointed me in that respect! It makes my hair very silky.

I picked Patanjali henna just for the sake of trying it as the indigenous brand has never disappointed me. And they are so economical that you can pick lots and lots of products and the price would hardly hurt your pocket.

Price : Rs 35 for 100 g; Buy : Amazon.in

My Views:

This henna powder comes in a simple plastic packaging with ingredients, manufacturing date and directions of usage printed on it. It claims to contain around 9 herbs besides henna which include neem, gooseberry, tea leaves etc.

The powder is fine textured, dark green in color and smells like dried henna leaves, a bit different from the Nupur henna powder. Nupur henna has a slight pleasant smell than this one. It is also stated on the pack that you have to use it within 180 days once you have opened the pack.
