Hello readers.. Today I am gonna write a review about CLEAN AND CLEAR FACE WASH. I came to know about this Johnson and Johnson product by television ad and wanted to try this. I am using this face wash for past three days and noticing its pros and cons. Let me write about it briefly in this post. Read it and write your feedback. You can also submit your doubts.

MY VIEW ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
I bought this face wash 3 days ago and using it twice a day. It is colorless and looks like a gel with a good smell. My opinion is that this is one of the best  face washes for oily skinned people. They can surely use this face wash without any hesitation. It cleanses the skin well and controls oil secretion. My face doesn’t feel oily at all even after 2 hours of washing.

PROS
1. Very best to use for oily skin as it washes out excess oil and keeps your skin fresh.
2. It smells better and a little drop is enough to wash the entire face and neck. It lathers well and rinses out completely.
3. The best summer time face wash which we can carry in our handbag everywhere
4. Affordable for good worth ( A gift for oily skinned people)

CONS
1. The face wash is not good to use if you have extremely dry or sensitive skin. It may lead to dryness. Hence, you should use a hydrating face wash like PONDS DAILY FACE WASH. It consists of Vitamin E and glycerin and worked well for me.
2. For normal skin, usage in summer is better, but we should opt for another moisturizing face wash in winter as this one removes all the moisture from the skin.

Overall, Its a great product for oily skinned people, Guys who roam often in sun can carry this along with them daily. It is very handy and perfect to use. I am in love with this product after I started using this. It really prevents pimples and make skin clean and clear as it claims.

My Rating : 4.5/5 (Sorry I wouldn’t have reduced .5, that’s for the tight feeling in dry skins :( ) Overall it is a great product :) I’ll use it for sure in summers.

My all time favorite winter soap is Dove. I have had a good relationship with many of the Dove products and hence I use dove soap to wash my facial skin too without any fear; but this time, I changed to Mysore sandal soap and hence needed a gentle face wash that doesn’t dry out my skin this winter because I feel that most of the soaps even leave oily skin dry and tight. When I went for shopping, I picked this Ponds Daily face wash, the green colored tube and going to review it now.

Product Description:
The first step in facial care for soft, smooth skin. For clean and soft skin that glows. Suitable for normal, dry, oily and combination skin types.

How it works:

  • Thoroughly cleanses without leaving slippery feeling on skin.
  • Clears skin. 100% soap free formula with rich lather penetrates and removes deep rooted dirt, leaving your skin cleaner and smoother.
  • Gentle on skin. Active cleansing system clears gently and cares for your skin better than soap.

Price and Quantity:
Rs.38 for 50g

Usage Directions:
Splash face with water and apply face wash on face and neck. Rinse off. Pat dry. If face wash gets into your eyes, rinse well with water.

My Experience with this Product:

Packaging: This face wash comes in a white tube with a light green flip type cap. The product is completely safe for travel usage and still, the flip cap is a bit tight to open every time.  

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance: This face wash is white in colour and has a very creamy consistency. The fragrance is pleasant and refreshing; wouldn’t bother sensitive noses either.

How it works: Finally I got a wonderful face wash which suits my normal-oily skin well in winter. I feel very comfortable till now from the first time I started using this Ponds daily face wash. It smells pleasant and does the cleansing job really well.  I know this is the HG face wash for most of you out there and of course for me too in hard drying winters. I am using this face wash twice everyday and one 50g tube comes for a month.

Pros:

  • It consists of Vitamin E and Glycerin, which are good moisturizing ingredients.
  • It comes in a handy tube which looks simple and attractive.
  • Unlike other soaps and face washes, it doesn’t make my skin feel tight at all.
  • Its very affordable and full worth of money.
  • It softens the skin and made my finger to touch my face all time. It made my skin really smooth.
  • It has a wonderful fragrance which is light and pleasant.
  • The 100 % soap free system is safe to use in any kind of skin hence it has no side effects
  • It is suitable to use for all skin types except very oily skin.

    Cons:

    • I found it hard to open the flip cap every time :( It is a bit tight I guess.
    • This face wash doesn’t get washed off quickly and needs more water than usual to get rinsed off completely.
    • People who have very oily skin might not like this as it doesn’t help with oil secretion and makes skin little greasy after 2-3 hours of face wash (Only if your skin is oily) 

    My Recommendation: Its a great product and I recommend everyone to try this wonderful face wash, especially in winters. You would love to touch your soft skin as I did :D
