Until last year, I used to be someone who would drive to meet my paw-buddies at the beach and then settle in the corner of a random restaurant for dinner at nights. Though I had been fairly careful with nutrition and hygiene, though I genuinely enjoyed my day-time cooking experiments, I wasn’t very happy about eating out frequently every night.… Read More »3 Convincing Reasons Why I Love Meal Prep
Though I hadn’t cooked much in a fortnight, I’ve few interesting pictures to share with you all! This new volume refreshes my week as I really enjoy doing it. Looking forward to try more new recipes this month!
I am starting this fun series today where I’ll be sharing the pictures of recipes I cook! I have this slightest worry inside my heart for NOT doing food blogging. I sometimes even think about starting a Youtube food channel but then, time is a big issue! My schedule doesn’t let me do that!
If you are a regular reader, you must be knowing how much I love cooking! It is the most de-stressing activity for me after a hectic day! This volume is random and hence, I will be sharing it whenever I feel like doing the same – on the weekends, weekdays or whenever I cook! Hope you enjoy the volume!
1. Homemade Pasta (Noodles?)
One fine night, when I was tempted to have Maggi noodles, I tried this recipe at home! And it turned out quite good. My mom was strongly against me eating noodles or any packed food because that was the time I just got recovered from chickenpox! I only used a pinch of cayenne pepper with lots of pepper and turmeric!
Note: If you are wondering.. Yes, I made the pasta with flour and egg.. and a knife! No water used except for when I cooked it before adding the seasonings. Though not perfect like storebought pasta/noodles, it turned out in decent shape! But believe me, the taste was excellent!! I then tried an egg-less version for my dad and sister; sadly it turned out to be a failure! Sheesh..
