Today I am going to review on one of my cult favorite hair treatments for dry and split ends – Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair rescue Sealed End. This product belongs to BC Bonacure Schwarzkopf Repair rescue range. Let us see how much it fared me.
How many of you can vouch for the fact that you are not a beauty addict? I can’t as I am so addicted to Make and Beauty Home. Not a single day goes without checking the updates. And I must add the DIY collections are splendid, they work for sure!
So coming to my new review- it’s a hair serum from Streax this time that I am currently loving so thought of sharing this with you all.
Streax Pro hair serum is the ultimate frizz resistant formula that instantly seals silky smoothness into hair cuticles. Enriched with vitamin E , it smoothes rough and damaged strands to make them shiny and frizz free. Detangles unruly hair Provides extra shine and frizz control to straightened, permed or colour treated hair Styles hair while blow drying or using flat irons

My Take on Streax Pro Hair Serum:
I have dry and colour treated curly hair, my hair is actually so dry that even oiling my hair prior to washing it does not always help. Neither can I oil my tresses ever other day nor step out with that chipku chipku look. I was in search of a good hair serum to solve my problem when I got hold of this.
The best part of this hair serum is not one but many. To count a few of them would be its effectiveness in detangling hair, imparting shine to hair and keeping my tresses in place and so on. Its comes packed in a small plastic light blue bottle with a small pump . Its so easy and light to carry around on trips but mind you this does not require reapplication or what we call touch ups to hair. As per directions I apply this to partially wet hair because hair serums work best only when applied to slightly damp hair.
Only 2 pumps is enough for mid length hair. The smell is so invigorating that it makes me feel fresh and nice. Now moving to the result part – it makes the tedious job of detangling hair simpler. I wait for my hair to dry completely after applying the serum and trust me I have lesser and softer tangles to deal with. Just a little hand work and I am done .I can brush through my hair without stopping at knots in between hair strands. It controls frizz to a satisfactory extent and hair stays in place for a long time.
I am in love with this serum and would like to try the other variants from this range next time. To add to this all I can say is that it works on dry colored hair for sure but does not repair it from within rather it smoothes the area temporarily. In fact serums are just a quick fix to detangle hair and get rid of hair breakage, control frizz and impart shine. They cannot repair split ends or repair any kind of damage so it is useless to expect such results from a hair serum.
Why I like this Hair Serum?
Why I don’t like this Hair Serum?
MABH Rating: 4/5 (-1 as it very little shine to hair)
I would recommend this to girls with frizzy and dry hair who are looking for a nice serum to tame their tresses. The best part is that even if you apply a little more by mistake it does not make hair limp and works no matter what!
I have dry hair and frizzy too and unmanageable also and oily scalp too and I HATE MY HAIR 🙁 🙁 (all thanks to re-bonding). One day my friend recommended me to use L’Oreal Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum for smoother and manageable hair, without thinking twice I purchased it. Lets move onto the review now.
Hey all you pretty ladies!
How are you doing? Monsoons are at their best and I hope you are taking care of yourself as much as you are enjoying them. The environment is full of moisture and as you all know the change of weather affects both our skin and hair equally. But whatever the season is split ends, dryness and frizz are encountered by all the women one time on the other. I am one such girl who’s always on a lookout for products which controls the insane amount of frizz on my wavy hair. Today I’ll be reviewing one such product which didn’t disappoint me.
Rs.105 for 10 ml, I got for a discounted price of Rs. 65
The product comes in rather a boring but travel friendly packaging, a teeny-tiny plastic bottle with a nozzle and black cap. Looks more like a medicine bottle enclosed in a big cardboard box which gives an illusion of a larger bottle inside..Cheating.. Huh!! :/
This serum is a colourless viscous fluid just like any other hair serum with a mild fragrance also it is completely non oily and non sticky, very smooth in texture and very easy to apply.
How it works: Drop 4-5 drops in the palm of your hands and work your way from roots to tips giving more stress to the tips where the damage is more, it blends very easily leaving no remnant of the product on your hands.
As you know, Richfeel provides a range of quality hair care products which mainly targets various hair problems like dandruff, dry hair, hair fall etc.. I applied it on my freshly shampooed wet hair about 4-5 drops and one thing which I must say is that the Richfeel hair care actually makes hair more manageable thereby controlling the frizz.. Yay!!
The hair become more soft and smooth but over the time I didn’t experience it controlling the split ends which I’m always worried about. All in all I think it is much of on the go product for a woman with a hectic lifestyle most suitable after wet hair thought the tiny bottle may be carried in the purse and can be reapplied, but for my hair it kept them smooth and shiny all day, I’m Happy! 😀
Rating: 3.5/5 (I would’ve given it a 4 if it helped with split ends too!)
Do I Recommend?:
Yes, its a good product for both dry frizzy girls as well as normal hair girlies 🙂
Would I Repurchase?:
Why not, if an affordable product goes a long way controlling the dryness and frizz then definitely yes!
Hope everyone is feeling gorgeous today!! I am back with yet another hair care product review. I am going to share my opinion on Parachute scalp therapie. An average adult has about 100,000 to 150,000 hairs. Losing hundred strands of hair everyday is quite normal. But if it’s more than that, it’s an alarming sign. There are many reasons for hair fall like genetics, malnutrition, stress, medication, post delivery and the list goes on.When I came across this product, I immediately picked up hoping it would fight my mild hair fall. Please read on to know if this met my expectation.
Rs. 125 for 100 ml
In the description, it was mentioned Anagen Telogen ratio. I had no idea what they meant. So, did a bit of googling and came to know they are phases of hair growth. And here goes my inference.
Anagen: In this active phase, hair growth is regular and constant. Scalp hair stays in this phase for 2–7 years and is genetically determined.
Catagen: In this phase, hair is between life and death. The hair stops growing but stays in place for another 2-4 months.
Telogen: In this resting phase of hair follicle, the dead hair stays on until the root is strong enough to remove it.
Now lets get back to review. The packaging is quite attractive. The oil comes in a greyish silver colour outer body with a tight fitting black cap.The flip cap is quite strong and is spill proof making it travel friendly. The colour of the oil is light brown. The moment you open the flip cap, the smell of the oil is unbearable.
The oil has a strong herbal fragrance. If you keep smelling it for some time, you are sure to get a headache. Because of this, I couldn’t use it everyday. I oiled my hair in alternate days and left it overnight. It did reduce my hair fall but only to certain extent. I did not expect such an average product from a reputed brand like Parachute. Overall, I did not find this product worthy. Atl east it did not work very well for me.
So Do I Suggest this to you?:
You can give it a try as results might vary from person to person.
Now, I found the L’Oreal conditioner in my brothers shower bag and along with it I found the serum too that comes in that range. So in this review I talk about L’Oreal Paris Total Repair Serum. I have not used serums in the past and so this was my first time trying one. I was totally unaware of what to expect and that made it all the more interesting. It clearly mentioned that it is for unmanageable damaged hair!
Price & Quantity:
Rs 140/- for 40 ml.
The packaging here too is similar to the conditioner and shampoo from the same range.
It is colourless like all serums I guess. It has some kind of mild fragrance and the texture too is like some other serums I have come across but maybe a little sticky.
As I mentioned in my previous review, my hair type is pretty manageable but it is the texture that drives me mad! Here again my brother is a happy customer. And that is okay from a male point of view, right ladies? But then what about my point of view about this product?
I have a mental block of rubbing in anything into my damp hair but I did it this time. I was surprised how well it worked into the hair. It does feel a little sticky though when rubbing in which I do not like. But that does not linger on. It did give my hair that extra bounce and shine and volume. After using this I did not have to use any other styling gear like a blow dryer and such. Just ran my brush through my hair and it looked really pretty once dry. I can say that it is true to its claims and does give you smooth and detangled hair but repaired hair??? I doubt that. One can only prevent split ends and such but never repair such conditions I feel.
Overall it is a hit product with me. It adds volume, gives shine and makes hair bouncy too. The effect stays on for the next day too after which it begins losing its magic. However, I am yet to try it with other shampoo and conditioner combos. Should work fine there too I feel.
Do I Recommend?:
Yes, I would. It does a good job of styling hair too.
Would I Repurchase?:
Not sure as it is a little sticky which is an issue with me.
