The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Manicure Cream Review

Hello ladies!

The Body Shop’s sale during the end of 2016 compelled me to buy a few products from them! Their products are a bit expensive for college goers like me though!

Since it was winter time, my hands were getting pretty dry. Every time I wash my hand with a hand wash, I felt the need to moisturize it. I never had a hand crème in my personal product collection. Whenever my turn became dry (which rarely happened), I use to manage the dryness with petroleum jelly. But this winter, the situation was completely different. I felt like my hands were becoming Sahara Desert! I immediately made up my mind to buy a good cream specifically for hands!

The hand cream was my pick to address this issue. This product is completely vegetarian. Also, the brand does not test the products on animals, which means this product is cruelty friendly!

My Views

This hand cream comes in a silver color aluminum tube packaging. It has a plastic black cap on one end through which the product is dispensed. The picture of almonds on the sliver tube adds a touch of elegance to the whole look!

The cream inside is of white color. Its consistency is neither thick nor runny, somewhere in the middle. It carries a sweet smell of almonds just as the product name suggests which is just subtle and calm. The formula is so soft that it absorbs right into the skin in a jiffy! And post application there was no residue of the ream left on my hands. The texture of the cream is smooth. Unlike some moisturzing creams, this product did not feel oily or greasy. I felt like this hand cream instantly refilled all the moisture gone from my hands just like magic. The effect of this cream remained very long. It brought back suppleness into the skin.

Rating : 4.5/5

This product is my best buy from The Body Shop last year. But I happen to find that the aluminum packaging is not the best, since it cracks here and there after few weeks of usage (on travelling mode). Apart from this issue. I am happy with this purchase. They could improve on the packaging since this one may result in wastage of product.
