Hello, beauty divas!
Mascara is a must in our makeup kit, isn’t it? Unless you have those amazing luscious eyelashes! I always plucked my eyelashes when I was a kid and now I wish they were long and thick. Who doesn’t want their eyelashes to look attractive?
I recently came across a brand named ‘Coloressence’ when I was out to shop for makeup. And then I had eyes on this super cute and attractive mascara! It looked expensive so I ignored it but later I couldn’t resist to buy it! (I wasn’t too familiar with the brand and it took me a week to remember its name!)
The mascara comes in a pink cardboard cover and looks super cute! (I love pink!) The product itself comes in a tube packaging with a black cap (It looked like a marker to me at first). The applicator wand looks quite unique, unlike other wands, this one has two irregular bumps, the one at the tip is bigger than other end and the middle is slightly turned inward. I was seriously scared to use this on my lashes at first. It takes a while to get used to it!
The content of the tube, the liquid has a creamy texture and dries up when rubbed. I never came across a mascara like this! The smell is sweet and nice!
This mascara claimed to be water resistant and to volumize and lengthen the lashes. To be honest, it did live up to my expectations! When I first tried it, I knew my money was worth it! The first stroke was absolutely perfect. It is water proof, which actually makes it harder to take it off if several strokes are applied. But thank god it doesn’t mix with the water and wears off when I wash my face outside (It would be embarrassing if it did!).
The only thing I didn’t like was that on multiple strokes, it created clumps and it felt like plastic lashes when I touched them!
How to use? : Start from the roots of your lashes softly stroke upwards while looking down. It helps the lashes to curl up and bonus point of this method is, you can get desired curls at first stroke! Use the inward portion of the wand to stroke and the larger bump to add some volume to desired or needed parts. You can use it on lower lashes as well!
How to remove? : The cleansing part is tough accordingly. If one layer is applied then it wouldn’t be too hard to take it off, just a single wash will do the work! But if too many layers are applied, then it would be really hard to take it off without losing a lash or two!
