Fabindia Honey Oatmeal Conditioning Shampoo Review

Hello ladies!

This is my first post and I am very excited about sharing my passion for skin and hair care with you all. Today I am reviewing the honey oatmeal conditioning shampoo from the brand Fabindia. I have recently come across this product and am using it from past one month. The moment I saw ‘for dry hair’ I bought it because I have wavy hair which is prone to frizz, looks very dry and they have mind of their own (unruly stubborn hair!).

So I am always on lookout for good moisturizing and nourishing products for my hair. And because of such hair dilemma I am very picky about products I buy, as most products are just waste of money and they do more harm than good. Since I have been using this shampoo for quite some time (1 month), I can share my views and experience about this product!

My Views:

This product claims to repair, moisturize and soften dry and damaged hair, as it is formulated with honey and oatmeal extract! I love its packaging which is sleek, strong white bottle with press button on cap. Press button is way better than flip cap, which tends to breaks very easily. Shampoo comes in a standard size bottle and is not available in any other size (as per my knowledge). The bottle is very sturdy and I have carried it while travelling without facing any problem. But it would have been great, if it is available in small sizes for travel purpose. Product dispenses very easily and in right quantity, so no wastage.

The shampoo is white in colour and its consistency is neither thick nor very runny. It has light pleasant fragrance which lingers on hair for few hours after hair wash. Personally, I love how my hair smells after shampooing.
Good thing about it is that Fabindia products are not tested on animals and it has the goodness of natural ingredients – honey, oatmeal and silk protein. Thing which I didn’t like is that it has SLES and I prefer to use natural and chemical free products.

Very little quantity of the shampoo is required to wash hair, so it lasts very long. It cleans scalp and hair thoroughly and rinses out very easily. To test the shampoo, I didn’t use my conditioner after shampooing and my hair still felt moisturized and less unruly. So, it worked better for me as compared to other shampoos I used; but yes, it’s a bit pricey.

From the time I bought this shampoo, I am using it religiously with the Fabindia Aloevera protein conditioner. They both work great for my wavy, frizzy, unruly hair! Yayyy!!

Overall I am quite happy with my new shampoo + conditioner combo I am using. As it made my stubborn hair, manageable and moisturized. If you have dry or damaged hair problem then you should give it a try!
