5 L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss Review, Swatches : Cannes Collection 2016

Hello, people! I’ve the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Glosses with me today! These are a part of the brand’s Cannes Collection this year. I’d already shared some of my favorite shades from the collection with you (here!). Today, I’m reviewing these lip glosses, and I must say I’m very impressed with their finish!

5 loreal paris infallible mega glosses

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss (Rs.850 for 8 ml) is described as a high shine lip gloss enriched with hyaluronic acid for rich hydration! It is supposed to be glossy and non-sticky.

The gloss comes in a transparent glass tube with a glossy-black cap in which the applicator is attached. The applicator is quite different in shape; it holds/restores the product and hence, once swipe is enough for that perfect finish! These glosses come in three different finishes called Dazzle, Cream and Xtreme Resist. The cream finish glosses somehow smell like caramel to my senses! I absolutely loved the scent because it’s just sweet and like-able!

I Got The Power (Cream) is a flesh toned n*ude shade with subtle hints of pink and brown in it. It is well pigmented; pigmented enough to go opaque in two coats on my lips. On paler lips, it would apply opaque with a single coat. The finish is creamy, glossy and shimmer-free. It applied really well, leaving my lips hydrated for the next few hours. It lasted for 3-4 hours on my lips after which it did fade evenly without leaving any hue behind. The shade can be utilized to the fullest in no-makeup makeup looks and looks that require a heavy eye makeup. Perfect for work-college wear, as well!

Who’s The Boss (Cream) is a dark berry shade with a cream finish. It had no particular undertone but the shade looked lighter once applied on my lips. The finish is opaque and the pigmentation is build-able! It stayed on my lips for 4-5 hours after which it faded evenly leaving a subtle magenta hue behind. The shade had no shimmers!

My Sky is the Limit (Xtreme Resist) is a blue toned, glossy pink with minute shimmer. I find it poorly pigmented compared to the other ones from the ‘Cream Finish’ however, it still is one of my favorite shades from this launch as it looked beautiful (read natural!) on my lips! It looked like a bubblegum-y pink on the tube, but it was subtle, yet bright and glossy on my lips to the contrary. The shimmers do not hurt the eyes but they may settle behind even after the color fades away. It stayed for 2-3 hours on my lips.

All Night Long (Xtreme Resist) is a warm, shimmery coral shade with hints of peach. It had golden pink shimmers that looked very visible on my lips! (but not harsh). This shade is also from their ‘Xtreme Resist’ finish and hence had an average pigmentation. The finish is sheer and not opaque but this shade would make a great party wear if paired up with a lipstick! With a bright coral lipstick/lip liner underneath, this would look fantastic on a summery day!

Alerte Rouge (Cream) is a bright red with neutral undertones. It’s neither warm nor cool but it faded down to a soft rose-red on my lips; however it can settle into a soft pink/soft red depending on the undertone of your skin. The pigmentation is great; it went opaque in one single swipe. The finish is creamy, glossy and shimmer-free. The shade is a stunning, universal red that would suit almost every skin tone!

Overall, these glosses are worth a buy! They suit Indian skin tones very much! If you’re planning to pick one, start from the ‘Cream’ finish section! They’re not only highly pigmented by also sweet-smelling. However, Xtreme Resist also offers a great shade range! I’m yet to try these glosses in Dazzle!
