Hello, people! I’m here after a long time to write a review – the most requested review on the HairFab Dietary supplement from Zenith Nutrition! There are so many things that have been happening in my personal life. (Will talk more about that on the ‘Just like that’ series!)
I do not think I’ll be able to get back to full-time-blogging soon. But I shall make sure to post my reviews/updates now and then! I’m happy you’re still here! I won’t disappoint you with no-posts anymore. Though not as many as before, you can expect updates from now on.
I’ve had few more products from Zenith Nutriton for which the reviews will be up shortly (Few used by my family members, and few by our writers!)
Hairfab comes in a capsule form; there are 60 vegicaps packed inside this grey-silver colored plastic container. The color of the bottle is pretty different from that of the other supplements from this brand! The supplement claims to be enriched with Choline, Inositol, PABA, MSM.
Except for MSM, I’d never heard of anything else of the above! Being a long hair addict, I’ve only read about biotin, folic acid and iron supplements for hair. (You’ve no idea how much I read about such stuff! Blame the forums.. and the internet and my craze for long hair! You can read my hair growth journey to know more about my experience with biotin)
I expected the hair fab to come with a ‘biotin’ tagline, as every other hair growth supplement in the market but these new names raised my curiosity levels! With no further delay, I googled about them and here is the information I got.
Choline : This nutrient is from the the B complex family! Choline is generally not called a vitamin but a micro-nutrient that is essential for our heath. It helps the function of liver, brain, nerve etc while providing anti-aging benefits to the skin and hair. Choline relieves ‘stress’ that causes hair loss! (Someone pour a ton of it into my body where all the stress is stored! Sigh!) When taken with Inositol, it excellently works on your body to gain back the lost hair! (As per the research!) Chickpeas, salmon and cauliflower are natural sources of Choline!
Inositol : Inositol too belongs to the B family and it is also called as Vitamin B8. It helps promote hair growth by providing nourishment to the body and by converting essential nutrients into energy. It is also a water soluble vitamin – means, the excess will be flushed out by your body! (No side effects!)
PABA : Again, a B Complex family member! PABA keeps gray strands in check by preventing your hair from losing its natural color! How good! It helps the hair hold its natural pigment, hence your hair shines without losing the texture! Anti-gray vitamin is what they call PABA. What more you want from it?! After all, we all love our natural hair color to remain for long years!
MSM : Made of sulfur, MSM is a well known supplement for hair growth! Hair growth enthusiasts swear by this nutrient. You can read more about it on the blogs and the forums online. I personally have never tried MSM before taking this supplement. I now am thankful I did! (MSM can lengthen the anagen phase (growing phase) of your hair! Onions, shallots, cabbage and sprouts are natural sources of this wonder nutrient!)
Other than these, I also noticed my ever favorite ‘Biotin’ on the nutrition information! (A hair care supplement without biotin?! NO!) Two capsules (a day) contain 5000 mcg of Biotin! If you’re a ‘Biotin’ beginner, I suggest you to drink a LOT of water to prevent breakouts and mouth sores (I don’t mean you’ll experience these but just in case..) Nevertheless, I’ve always been fine with 5000 mcg biotin. I even remember taking twice the amount each day!
Price : Rs.1920 for 60 vegicaps
As added benefit, the supplement also contains nutrients like Vitamin C, Niacin, Folic acid, Riboflavin, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin E. I must say it’s a wonder capsule packed with all good nutrients essential for your hair! It’s no more a hassle to take this and that for your hair! Two capsules a day will do the trick. I’m already seeing results on my hair after few weeks of usage! My hair strands appear stronger; I’ve less shed and I’m feeling active, as well since the nutrients also provide other health benefits.
Overall, I highly suggest Hairfab if you’re searching for a supplement for all your hair care needs! People who’d used it share wonderful results. Don’t forget to refer the reviews online!
