Nature’s Essence Caressence Peach and Apricot Exfoliating and Polishing Scrub Review

Hey, people! I picked this Nature’s essence scrub from Nykaa (an online shopping store) last month along with few other products for myself and our writers! I hope the blog will be updated with regular reviews from now!

Coming to the product, I wanted a scrub to keep my facial skin smooth in this weather and I must say this has been one of my recent favorites! I’ve been using this scrub 3-4 times a week for the last one month now and today, I’m sharing my views on it!

The scrub comes in a chubby, white plastic tube with a carrot-orange flip cap. I find the packaging sturdy; sturdy enough to travel safely with it! Being cream based, this scrub contains tiny (again orange!) apricot particles that are meant for scrubbing. They are not very mild; not harsh either. Since it also acts as a body-scrub, I’d find it easier to carry it while traveling since I don’t need two separate exfoliating products for my face and body! The base is milk white in color and the consistency is almost thick! Though not VERY fine, the scrubbing particles do a decent job in exfoliating.

Extra-sensitive skin types should be careful while using it on their face since it can get a tad more harsh. For body exfoliating, it’s perfect as an everyday scrub! Your body skin is going to love it for the softness it gives. The has a faint-fruity fragrance; not very purely-fruity (the ones you get from fresh handmade scrubs!) but I’m not disliking it!

If you think it’s going to leave your skin greasy, then you’re wrong! It brightens my face instantly after every usage and removals all the dirt, extra-oiliness from my face. I love how fresh my skin looks post-usage of this product!

Thought being a ‘cream’ based exfoliating product, it does not leave residue on my skin! It doesn’t leave my skin dry either. However, I won’t truly recommend it to dry skin types since it DOES not provide that kind of moisture a dry skin needs. This scrub will suit oily-normal and normal skin types though! Combination skin types might also find this good on their skin.

Price : Rs.175 for 120 g

Rating : 4/5

According to me, this is one of the best budget scrubs I’ve come across! The weather is acting cold here in Chennai right now and I’m glad that this scrub help me exfoliate my skin without stripping off the natural oils. Not sure how I’ll like this in summer though.

I’d recommend this scrub to everyone who’s looking for a scrub that instantly brightens their skin; doesn’t leave a slippery feel behind and gets washed off in a jiffy!
