I am someone who rarely uses oil because I have a very oily scalp. But due to the pollution, daily shampooing and my mom’s scolding I need to oil my hair! I got this product because of the ayurvedic claims it made. Now did it score or did it not? Read on to find it out!
Vatika oil is priced at Rs.84 for 150 ml. It is a combination of coconut oil, lemon, henna, amla and few other hair-essential ingredients. Be it any hair type – long, wavy, thin, thick, curly, every hair has its own set of issues like hair fall, dryness and dandruff. These are caused by pollution, harsh sun rays and our busy lifestyle. The product works on the hair to repair all the damage and gives you a beautiful mane with its Coco++ benefits!
Ingredients: The tripe power of lemon, henna and amla mixed with a nourishing coconut oil fights with three hair problems such as hair fall, split ends and dandruff, providing you the volume and shine that you long for!
Coconut Oil benefits:
Coconut oil is extracted from the coconut fruit and it is a great moisturizing ingredient for your hair. It deeply conditions your hair and scalps taking care of that extra-dryness and promotes your hair growth wonderfully! It also adds softness and shine to your hair. I personally love using coconut oil on my hair and when it’s with added benefits, it’s a huge yes!
The hair oil comes in a green colored plastic bottle. It has a screw cap and a pin-hole nozzle to dispense the product in right amounts. The bottle is quite sturdy and I find it easy to carry it during travels!
The consistency of the product is runny. It is transparent green in color and the fragrance is just awesome! It has a lovely coconut-herbal infused fragrance true to the Coco++ claim; it is not at all overpowering but just fresh and nice. It feels good to have the smell around.
How do I use it? : I applied the product in generous amounts at night. (You can also leave it for an hour!) I massaged it in. I felt my head a bit colder. It might be because of the camphor in it. It feels really nice; believe me. Then I went off to sleep. Next day I washed my hair. I required a little bit more shampoo but you won’t need too much. Make sure you remove all the oil from the hair.
After washing my hair felt really soft and fresh. I had a really good shine. I was really surprised because the shine was quiet substantial. It did not make my hair limp or heavy. Nor did they start to oil later. With continued usage, my hair fall is very much in control and I rarely see any split ends!
Overall, I must say I loved the Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil! It’s very affordable and it works great on my hair. It adds softness to my hair and keeps my hair fall in check when regularly used! It also takes care of dandruff up to a good extent. I think it’s a must have for everyone!
