Dermadew Lite Soap : Review, Photos and My Experience

Hello people!

After reading several positive reviews on the Dermadew Lite Soap, I convinced myself to give it a try though I’m not a soap user! I always go for body washes and shower gels to prevent my skin from drying out. I’d been using this soap 2 whole months, mainly to get rid of the scars left by chickenpox on my body. Do read my review to know my experience with the soap!

Price : Rs.150 for 75 g; Available : Clickoncare.com

My Views :

The soap is packed in a thin plastic sheet, placed securely in a simple carton. It comes in an oval size and it is milk white in color! The name of the brand is printed on the soap. The hold is right during usage; neither too small; nor too big.

It lathers very well and the foam produced is very creamy. It smells similar to a soap I’d used once in my childhood. I’m not getting the name but the fragrance is very similar! Nothing unique; but nothing irriating either. The fragrance is mild, gentle (like that of a day cream’s) and fades away soon after getting out of the shower. It cleanses my skin well leaving it clean and non-slippery!

Not so much of water is required to rinse away the foam – which is actually a good thing for quick showers. I love using such bathing bars/gels on summers!

My skin is not left moisturized after the bath and it is too much to expect from a soap. However, it doesn’t leave my skin dry as well! I need to put on a body lotion when I stay inside an air conditioned room. Otherwise, I simply rub my foot cream, hand lotion and step out! Chennai summers literally made me forget the lotions! I also use the soap on my face at times! It leaves my facial skin squeaky clean, but it does not control oiliness. It leaves my facial skin matte and hence, I suggest using a good moisturizer post usage!

Coming to the results, I must say it has worked to fade my tan. The tan has reduced considerably. My scars also seem to fade! Not sure if its due to the other DIY facials I’d been doing or because of this soap but whenever I use it, my face looks fresh and bright! The dark spots are less visible too. It doesn’t break me out and my skin remains smooth.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this bar! I must say it works to fade tanning up to a good extent. With regular usage, you can also find your pigmentation losing its severity. Since it is a lightening soap that is prescribed by dermatologists, I’d recommend it to people who suffer from pigmentation issues!

I’m also trying out other few gel based soaps these days! (Puriso and Aster handmade soaps) There are from new brands and I’m loving them so much. Detailed reviews on them are coming up shortly!

    1. I guess we can! :) Since it is sold online and in few pharmacies I know. They sell it without prescription. However if you are concerned, I highly suggest you to consult with your derma first about using it on your skin.
