Aster Handmade Luxury Bathing Bars in Jasmine, Neem and Orange : Photos, Review

Hey people!

Summer is at its peak here in Chennai and I’ve already started stocking handmade soaps, as they seem to be my current obsession! From floral, fruity to coffee.. I love using them in all variants/flavors! After all, a shower is the first refreshing thing we do every morning and I’d like it to happen with some lovely aroma!

Today, I’m introducing another brand, Aster that sells pure handmade bathing bar in different exciting variants! I got three variants out of all – Orange, Jasmine and Neem! I am reviewing them today with my views on them.

My Views

Jasmine : It is an off-white colored, gel based bar that carries a fresh jasmine fragrance! The fragrance isn’t very strong, however it is not light either! My bathroom smelled of jasmine flowers after I had a shower with this bar! It cleanses off my skin well without leaving it dry. It gets softer with every use hence I store it in a dry place.

Neem : The neem bar is leafy green in color and it smells very herbal/rejuvenating to the senses! My mom loved it better than she loved the Jasmine variant. The bar is gel based as well; It cleanses the skin perfectly – which is apt for summers without leaving any slippery feeling behind. Since neem contains anti-bacterial property, I totally love using this soap! It cools down the skin and heals it with the goodness of neem. Though the soap doesn’t get that softer or gooey, I still suggest storing it in a cool, dry place! Since these are soft, handmade soaps unlike the hard soap bars that we get in drugstores, extra care is necessary!

Orange : The bar is coral red in color and it is get based, too! And it smells extremely refreshing. I somehow did find the ‘citrus’ fragrance quite different from that of the regular citrus based products. It has a strong smell of orange candies, that I love! You’ll love this soap if you are fond of oranges! A bar like this is never boring in your shower!

Overall, I’m very impressed with these vibrant soaps from Aster! They smell great; they lather just right and they cleanse the skin without leaving it dry!

Jasmine is more moisturizing out of the 3 and my personal favorite is Orange! I’d recommend this brand to everyone who loves a good smelling shower! I shall soon review more of their bathing bars!

P.S : The brand Aster is against animal testing and their products are free from SLS, Parabens and any sort of animal fat!
