MABH Reader Queries : Vol.1

Hey people!

It has been long time since I posted something on this section. I had previously covered reader queries and solutions on the blog but unfortunately, there was no continuation! I missed responding to many of your queries in between (due to my work, illness and other personal reasons). I really apologize for that!

From this week on wards, I shall be continuing to update this as a volume and hence your queries won’t be left unanswered. I hope I do justice to your questions! Do leave your comments below in case of doubts!

mabh reader queries volume 1

Shefali Das’s query:

I have read about the MABH hair oil that contains detailed analysis on its preparation and ingredients used. I love the style with which you write ur informative posts!

On the other hand, I also have doubts regarding its efficacy on my head, whether it would suit me that well or not. I have a butt length hair.

My problem begins here:

1. Split ends

2. Lower half of my hair relatively drier.

I don’t blow dry, colour, straighten or perm my hair. I mostly braid it or make a ponytail.  Also, please suggest me remedies for proper hair care routine according to my hair type to retain my naturally black and dense hair and grow hair faster than before. I will be really grateful to you!

Solution:

Dear Shefali,

Thanks for getting in touch! Causes of split ends and dry hair can be too many! You’ve to find out the exact cause to treat the same. As you mentioned that you never color, straighten or perm your hair, there are chances you may be experiencing stress/excessive body heat/nutrition deficiency. Your hair routine/products you use can also affect the health your hair hair thus causing split ends! I highly recommend you to regularize oiling routine. You can refer my post on how to use MABH fast growth hair oil to know what to follow and when to follow! I also suggest you to eat egg whites/dhal everyday to get required protein. Eggs helped me a lot in growing out my hair!

Once you settle with the proper routine and diet, your hair fall will eventually reduce and hence, you will gain back your hair volume. If necessary, do get a split end trim done before you start (BUT only if you have excessive split hair at the ends; if not you may lose the length of your hair which will be a pain!) Do click photos of your hair before you start the routine and compare them with new ones after 8-10 weeks.

My best wishes!

I want to use MABH Hair Oil. Will this be useful for guys too? Yea mudinchi I think. Ufff big query.. Please help me dear! Thank you!

Aysha

Solution :

Hello Aysha,

Thanks for getting in touch. I remember you! ♥

Sounds like your skin/hair issues started with your dehyradration! I experienced the very same recently after not drinking water properly for months. My mom was very upset with me because of the same. ‘More than usual hair shed’ and ‘dry skin’ were the first two signs and hence, I tried to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. My skin returned back to the normal state within a month.

After recovering from chickenpox, I truly realized the importance of water as fluids helped me a lot with my fast recovery! Now, I make sure to include lots of tender coconut and water everyday; and believe me, my skin is doing decent without a moisturizer! (I am not using anything on my skin as to let the scars heal; I will start using moisturizers from this week, again!) Though not extremely smooth, it is not stretchy. I suggest you to set timers on your mobile phone to remind you about drinking water once every 1-2 hours! It works! (Experience!) Moisturize your face every time after you cleanse it and slather moisturizers on your hands and feet twice every day – once after bath and once before going to bed at night. It will gradually cure the wrinkled skin. They are actually not wrinkles but the signs of dehydration! Inner and outer hydration will definitely help you cure all the problems you mentioned. Your hair fall will also reduce considerably with proper water intake. Make sure to oil your hair twice every week to nourish it and to keep your body heat in control. If it still persists, I request you to take B complex ONLY after consulting with your doctor. It keeps acne and hair fall at bay as it normalizes body heat!

For the acne marks/scars, leave them as they are! They will fade away in few weeks/months with a proper CTM routine and diet as they are not permanent. Never pop or scratch them as to not increase the risks of scarring! If left undisturbed, they go away without major scars that will fade in no time. All you have to do is to prevent new ones from appearing so that your skin will be clear in a matter of few weeks! To be honest, you can do nothing to totally vanish the marks overnight however you can speed up the fading process by following natural home remedies you mentioned (Orange peel powder, kasturi turmeric etc) Turmeric helps a LOT in removing the marks fast (when used at night) but no sun exposure when you use it as it makes your skin photosensitive! Don’t go for chemical creams/lotions to fade the marks as they do more bad than the good! They make your skin thin and extra-photosensitive making it more prone to pimples in future. Besan and turmeric will work 1000 times better!

And yes, MABH hair oil can be used by men as well! Gender is not an issue! My best wishes!

Mandeep’s query:

I have rebonded my hair and I am facing hair fall! If I use the MABH hair oil, are there any chances that if I stop, I have to face the same problem again? And for how much time I’ve to use it?

Solution:

Hi Mandeep,

MABH product is prepared at home with herbs, base oils, essential oils without the addition of any artificial ingredient (even preservatives) and hence, it has no side effects on anyone. You can read more about it HERE. It does not cause hair fall if you stop the usage after few weeks/months. However, losing the goodness of your routine/diet and not paying attention to your hair can lead to hair fall. You can use the product forever to maintain the shine and softness of your hair! It also keeps hair loss at bay with its unique formula. However, it is your own wish to continue or stop using it. Even if you stop using the MABH hair oil or any particular product, I highly suggest you to continue oiling your hair (with coconut/olive/castor hair oils) to maintain the length and shine!

My best wishes!

Shalini Rodrigues’s query:

Hi Lancy, I am 22 years old and I have a really sensitive skin but at times my skin tends to go oily in the t-zone and gets tanned and also small pores on the face pops up so do you suggest me to have a Evion capsule after dinner or both times after lunch and dinner or do you suggest me to apply the same on face??? If on face then for how much time and when to apply and if I can eat then when and how much..

Please revert back as I am a cabin crew and I wanna maintain my skin and also tell me a soap to use for fairer skin!

Thank you!

Solution:

Hello Shalini,

Sounds like your skin is photosensitive! Have your recently used whitening/brightening/bleach products on your skin? Skincare products with retinol, glycolic acid, hydroquinone and other such ingredients can brighten your skin and keep oiliness at bay at first but when you stop the usage, that will lead to more-than-usual oil secretion and photo-sensitivity! Hence, you should stay indoors or use very high SPF products to maintain your skin if you have used any such products lately.

Kindly follow a good skin care regime with natural cleansers and moisturizers. For oily skin, you can try a water-based moisturizer. Use a mixture of besan (gram flour), milk and a pinch of turmeric every night (as a pack) to remove uneven tan and blemishes.

Regarding the Vitamin E intake, I am afraid I cannot suggest you anything about the same! You SHOULD consult with your physician/dietitian before including supplements. I take one Evion capsule (400 mg) every day after my breakfast! You can apply Vitamin E oil (extracted from the capsule) to your skin and wash it after 20-30 minutes (as you have oily skin!) You can also use the same in homemade face packs/masks. It helps with skin healing up to a great extent!

My best wishes!

Jaelynn’s query:

Hi!! My name is Jaelynn and I am 12 years old! Straightening my hair is now becoming a part of my routine; I really dont want my parents to know that I want to use heat protectant! One time I got heat protectant and she threw it away; the problen is my hair doesn’t grow at all; it hasn’t grown in over a year!

All I have is olive oil; I’ve never tryed it but my hair gets naturally greasy on its own; it is really curly and my hair is dry and frizzy. I have no idea what to do! Please help me I really want to be able to have beautiful hair. Did I mention its so thin. Yay me please help me!

Love,
Jaelynn

Solution: Hey Jaelynn! I advise you NOT to straighten your hair regularly as it is not good for your hair (considering your young age) At this age, your hair grows naturally fast if you follow a healthy diet/sleeping pattern! Make sure to include vegetables and eggs to your everyday diet. Taking two eggs (or egg whites) everyday will help with fast hair growth. The reason why you say your hair doesn’t grow at all is NOT because your hair didn’t actually grow! But I suppose you spoiled your hair with regular straightening treatments. It makes your hair rough, thin and dull due to the chemical content present in the straightening creams!

Do follow a proper hair care routine; oil your hair twice a week (Olive oil is fine!) and include nutritious food to your diet! Stop straightening your hair or do it only once every few months in a trusted salon. I suggest you NOT to, in order to maintain the health and look of your hair! All the very best!

Noorsaba’s Query:

Hi Lancy!

I’m Noorsaba. So glad that finally I got in touch with you. First of all I would like to say that you have got wonderful hair! And on top of that thanks a lot for sharing your secrets with all of us!

I am a 27 year old housewife with two kids to take care of. I had very thick and long hair when I was in school but as time passed.. I started loosing hairs. And now it is only half the quantity left now. I never color my hair; neither styled nor straightened; nothing at all! Still have got severe hair fall! It became very heavy after pregnancy and delivery and all. Now I am tired of using all expensive oils and shampoos. Nothing worked!

I drink a glass of milk everyday. Sometimes dry fruits (I give it to my kids daily without fail but always forget to eat for myself like a typical mom) anyways!

Besides that I eat fish and chicken once in a week. Light meals at night; that is my simple routine! I do not get too much time to spend for my hair! Once I’ve used vitamin tablets for nearly about 2-3 months. As soon as I stopped them, again nightmare came! (Hair fall!l) Now only half of the hair is left on my head!

Before 3-4 days I came to know about your precious hair oil. Really impressed with all your hair journey! I am a big fan of your hair! I wish I could get the same. Please suggest me any changes in my routine! And suggest me some shampoos because oil is now confirmed.. It is the MABH hair oil and nothing else for my hair! But I don’t understand what to use to wash my hair.

After using this oil in how many days I can see changes? Is there any precaution I need to take while applying oil? What if I apply it for 2-3 days regularly and den wash my hair? Or its compulsory only night before washing hair?

Oh God! So many questions to disturb you! But please help. I am in extreme need of something useful like your oil. Waiting for your reply.

Thanks!

Solution:

Hey Noorsaba! I am glad that you love my hair! And thanks for the kind words! ♥

Coming to your query, it sounds like post-pregnancy hair fall to me! This is not uncommon. I highly suggest you to check with your doctor to know if you suffer from stress/nutrition deficiency or anything else as you mentioned you lost half of your hair! (which is not normal). I can sense how hard it could be! Thyroid imbalance, sleeplessness and iron deficiency can also lead to hair fall. Get them checked if possible.

If you don’t experience any of the above, you can cure your hair fall with proper routine and diet at home! Fish and chicken are so good for your hair. Include them to your diet regularly. I also suggest you to include eggs everyday! Keep a check on your daily water intake and sleep. Oil your hair twice-thrice a week and use mild herbal shampoos/shikakai powder to wash your hair. You can read the shampoo suggestions HERE. Do NOT expose your hair to direct sunlight as it weakens your hair root. You can definitely notice a change in your hair texture/growth after using the MABH fast growth hair oil but make sure you use it as mentioned on the blog (check HERE). If you follow the routine suggested on the page without fail, you will notice visible results on your hair growth and volume! Click photos of your hair now and compare it with new ones after two months. Go through the ‘My hair story’ section to read user experiences and hair stories of women across India! Their ideas might help you!

You can use the hair oil continuously for 2-3 days and then wash your hair, as you mentioned. My mom uses it the same way and she has a classic length hair at the age of 57! There is no compulsion to only use it overnight.

My best wishes. Take care!
